I wear this as my go to knot in a non-business situation. You'll get plenty of good reaction and it creates a common line of conversation from girls who are interested in you, they'll all compliment your tie. I prefer it with a single colour skinny tie.

One of the downsides is how often girls pull on your tie when they are flirting with you, as the night gets messy and drunk folk start getting handsy you can have a hard time keeping the look of the knot. Another good non-traditional knot is the trinity knot.
