I was in a coffee bar with my friend when he dropped this gem: "I went to the park with my pals last night and we each had 5 papers with numbers from 1 to 5, we would sit on the bench, and when girls passed us we would pick a number and raise it to rate the girl. Almost every girl laughed her ass off at her rating and we got several numbers".

I like the sound of that and I will definitely try it. What do you guys think?

Try it, can't hurt. You'd have to be in a pretty high traffic area for this to work. It's unique, a game of sorts, and entertaining. You can also tease girls this way. All great things.

However, I would caution you that you should consider how many girls the guy ACTUALLY went out with and actually closed, not phone numbers.

Keep in mind that if you practiced day game in the SAME high traffic location, you might get better leads and have a higher likelyhood of CLOSING.

who gets the number if she stops and talks? all of you? i predict a ridiculously high flake rate on any numbers obtained

best thing you could from there instead of numbers is at least one suggests instadate? with whom though?

thumbs down for pickup, thumbs halfway for entertainment value. you could do better things with your time.

I don't see the thumbs down for pick up.

It's not a full game routine, but it's a perfect fine opener.
Like with other openers you would have to follow up with your flavor of game.
So this is day game, just not a verbal opener.

The efficacy of this rating game depends on the girls, and the guys.
The girls should be fun and young.
The guys should be cool and hot looking enough to pull off this sexualization.

And that's what would make this work:
You immediately start off with judging the girls' looks.
The interaction is immediately sexualized.

Try this on the beach, or near the beach.

When a group of super fly girls walks by...
All pull out the '1' card.

Game on.

If its fun its a good idea.

Try going out with a small whiteboard and marker. Do your whole pickup using the board, acting like your mute. Once you get her number (whats the danger in giving your number to a mute, its not like hes gonna call, and she can always ignore the texts) just smile and tell her that youll give her a call later in the week. Works well on waitresses. Prop game is a blast.
