RE: Finland / Norway or Ukraine ?
For Scandinavian countries age and look is important like GK mentions. For easier bang, you are looking at the 19-25 crowd, and I think you will have a hard time with good looking girls within that range if they sense you are above early 30's, max 35. If under, you can be ok. Also extremely different where you go in Scandnavia, i.e Helsinki and Oslo will be one thing with nice looking girls in numbers, but you can actually score way more and easier up north. Less girls in total, but completely different mentality, and being foreigner is definately a big plus in those cities. Late october will most likely be just as cold in Oslo/Helsinki/Kiev, coastal north Norway more or less the same, northern Finland coldest. Fresh students just getting warmed up in Tromso, north Norway, temp around +/-5 degC at that time, but dont expect wild parties outside thursday-saturday. Scandinavian nightlife usually shuts down at 03 or 04 in the morning if you enjoy running later you must find private afterparties. (Popular in Norway at least)
If you are a little adventourous try to go north, for price Kiev kills all those places, and it seems from reports on this forum that Oslo can be a hard nut to crack.

Out of curiosity, why not any of the other EE countries? You picked one of the most expensive places on Earth (norway), an expensive country not known for the hottest girls but on the easy side (Finland) and a country that has a steep learning curve (Ukraine). What about Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, etc.? In my opinion, you get a combination of better looks and cheaper prices.

Budapest was ROUGH on me...though that was when I was more of a newbie in terms of international game...but I'll have to check all those other places out after Poland

I've traveled around most of Western Europe, spent time in Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, and Bosnia. I either wanted to experience more of Eastern Europe in Ukraine or visit a Nordic country (since I've never been to one). Also, I'll be in Germany and possibly Amsterdam in the beginning of October, so I'm not far from either.

Budapest is an awesome city but I found the girls a tier down from other EE countries. There are clubs located a serious trek outside the city that pull better looking girls. However, the logistics are a mess. But you can go out every night of the week. It is a lot of tourists early to mid week but picks up toward the weekend.
After reading up on this forum, I have concluded that guys will do well in either Romania or Poland. Most will have success in both. Personally, I found both to be really fantastic and would recommend to anybody. It is much harder to pull in the former Yugo countries if on a short duration trip. Romania works out better when the weather cools. It breaks down the social circles sitting outside. At least this is how it played out for me. Bulgaria...it just worked for me. I think the only way to find your holy grail in EE is to check out many countries / cities. One will fit you perfect and you will not be able to explain why. For me that place is Lithuania. I can't explain it but it was easier for me than Poland. Bratislava can produce too but hit it on a weekend. I was pleasantly surprised with the talent level. The city is kind of ugly by comparison to its neighbors. But most are not visiting for the architectural achievements.

RE: Finland / Norway or Ukraine ?
Ok, thanks for the feedback on why you picked these 3 countries. However, my concern is that after reading up on all the fine girls in Ukraine that you looked past many countries that are overall much easier. They may be a notch down in looks but you also need to be 4 notches higher in game / understanding the culture / knowing the language, etc. The former Yugo countries for me were more long term. They all have talent but take a bit more time. Finland is a great country and you will have a blast there. I just wanted to point out to you that there are girls a notch up in several EE countries and the places are cheap. To me that is a win win.
