I did not see a dedicated thread for something like this. I made a thread earlier about a good Adobe deal, however I will post strictly FREE courses in this thread to stay on the safe side. Anyone else feel free to post deals as well. Any deals or courses that are free and don't require you to enter any billing information.

although they seem similar, they aren't. this is about free courses that are introduced at various time periods and are free for a temporary time. that is more of a directory.

In conjunction with Duolingo, try the Michel Thomas method as well . Its all conversation based,so its more practical than alot of other language tools.

As far as free classes Stanford just started up a series of really good courses. A few offering are below and the whole list can be found here.

Here's a pretty good free course I took recently. This is not a promo - it's one of the Udemy courses, of which there are a good handful, that are always free.

Zero-Cost Marketing Strategies

Fair warning, I found the first two videos rubbed me the wrong way. The guy came across a bit a flaky and feminine, and I felt like he was taking way too long with each point, overexplaining, etc. But when I got to the third video it really picked up and was value all the way on out, with an excellent pace. Almost like his personality suddenly transformed..

He's a really solid marketer with some great processes - he was apparently the brains behind the viral launch for "The Secret." Maybe that movie wasn't to your tastes, but you can't deny it was a huge viral marketing success, perhaps one of the biggest yet. He's also played a major role in some other famous projects.

This free course is really a "primer" meant to whet your appetite for his paid marketing courses, which I am considering taking, but you can definitely get value from what he lays down here.

Thanks. Yeah, that much seems intuitive, but I don't think NYDigital was rounding up all these freebies just from their list. I assume he's gathering them from a few different places on the web - though I could be wrong.

I would imagine the list to be more focused on discounts than temporary giveaways. Is that so?
