These aren't random girls though they've already been tested for sluttiness!!!! He actually saw them even ordered them to kiss random guys and then kissed them himself afterwards!!!! Ayia Napa is pretty played out, I was surprised to see so many Brits still go. The types that used to frequent there, usually hit places such as Sunny Beach in Bulgaria these days.

It's a bit like 'EDM', one of the few things Americans are quite a bit behind on. Rave culture and dance music (newly christened EDM in the States) has been popular in Europe for decades. Weird, considering house music was invented by black Americans. I think in Chicago or Detroit if I remember correctly.

True and so was Rock, Jazz. the Blues. The house music coming out of Chicago in the eighties is a far cry from what is termed "House" music today. I'm not a fan of the current flavor that is pushed as it lacks a soulful energies/

Chicago. Came out of the gay black scene there at that. Frankie Knuckles recently died, he was the godfather of house music.

Never heard of Ayia Napa, I googled it and I'm surprised it's played out because it looks poppin' to me. At 38 the crowd seems a bit too young for me at this point but wish I'd knew about this years ago.

Cosign. There are some artists like Miguel Migs and Little Louie Vega who still produce house steeped in the soulful tradition but it's mostly died out and the more hard house, progressive, trance, dubstep stuff has taken over.

Plenty of people I grew up with went to Ayia Napa around 2004-2006, so maybe it's just me being older that I see it as being played out.

Edit: Indeed, a work colleague from last year who was 19 mentioned Ayia Napa as the holiday destination he and his mates were going to. So yeah, it must still be a destination popular with young Brits. It was considered the most 'rough' for a period. Particularly a period when 'Niche' music was popular. I think 'Bassline' is the mainstream term for it (from Wiki). 'Niche' was an English nightclub in Sheffield that became synonymous with the term.

I randomly bumped into Phillochko on the street here in Siberia a few days ago. We went out to a bar last night. Was really interesting hearing his take on things. His story is inspiring, coming to Russia alone and with not much Russian and despite having to no doubt put up with the kind of shit I as a white guy don't have to he has prospered here.

Genuine stand up guy too who good fun to hang out with.
