Tom Leykis: 7 Reasons to Make Yourself Scarce on Valentines Day
He drops some good gems here...

Quote:1) Women use the arrival of Valentine’s Day as a way of testing your level of commitment which, if you are enjoying a casual relationship, is zero. If you’re already a friend with benefits, there are no benefits to pretending to be more than what the two of you are. The beauty part of this? It’s honest! You don’t really care about her and she won’t be fooled into believing that you do. She has no right to expect anything you never promised, much less delivered.

Quote:5) Women like your FWB will often resort to going out alone or with friends on Valentine’s Night. This is when what we call the ‘Human Grab Bag’ takes place. Everyone frees up their girls for one night, where they become someone else’s low-hanging fruit. Men who are laying low should go out and see all the available women who feel low because no one asked them out for Valentine’s Day. All men who do this get to be with someone else’s girl for the evening, when she’s at her lowest.

"Human grab bag" is a fun term. I think you guys in Texas especially will be in a good position to capitalize on the Ashley Madison effect. Full article here. How are you making the most out of Valetines day?

A pessimist thinks all women are bad. An optimist hopes that they are...

I do something similar, in that I intentionally piss off my bitch (no commitment with her) so that she'll avoid me for the week or so before Valentine's Day.

Then on Valentine's Day and around then I do whatever without worrying about romance or whatever other bullshit society wants us to worry about. In the meantime I'm gaming another bitch, Spanish.

Or you could do that romantic stuff and then drop her when you get bored.

Eventually, you're going to run out of moves. A key skill in this game is dealing with a scorned woman. You deal with her, but also deal with the harsh reality of causing someone else pain. You're a bedroom bully, but will you crack when she's bawling her eyes out?

If all your getaways are smooth, you'll find yourself boxed in by your own emotions.

Or is that too real?

Ahh - Valentines day - the Holiday of a Player.

What I do at Valentines day and international Woman's day - buy huge stockpiles of food and call a sick day at work the day before, turn off all phones, turn off skype and all online presence, close curtains and remember my good old blue pill days with a 24 hour video game marathon.

Or do a multiple hour flexibility training sitting in split while watching all movies of a big franchise like Alien, LotR or Star Wars.

Or do yoga and read a book if I feel serious on this day.

Best day's of year.

Some of those things sound like what a single woman would do on Valentine's Day haha.

Is this assuming that you're seeing a girl regularly at this point?

hmm, ostensibly strong advice, but I think Mr. Leykis needs some fat-shaming

Perhaps, but Leykis is still an OG for being one of the only mainstream red pillers out there.

The guy dropped priceless knowledge on the marriage institution sham, on the regular.

Not sure what he's been up to since he went off air years ago...

*edit* Looks like he has a podcast now. Makes sense.

RE: Tom Leykis: 7 Reasons to Make Yourself Scarce on Valentines Day
Well this year Valentine's Day is on a Friday, so I'm going to treat it as a laid back Friday. I'll suit up, grab some oysters, then a bit of dark chocolate, and head over to a wine bar as the hamsters twirl. Some will glance over, beckoning me to approach. I will instead enjoy a cigarette as the full moon gleams. As Mage said, it's a player's holiday, let them do the work.

This is assuming I am not in a mood for any bullshit.

Cop and blow. There will come a point eventually when a woman will leave you (since you're not going to commit) SO really, there's nothing to worry about. . .just replace her with someone younger. . .and hotter Banana

I don't think there's anything wrong with spending Valentine's with a girl. Just because you're banging other girls on the side doesn't mean you can't have a fun time with a girl on her special day lol

RE: Tom Leykis: 7 Reasons to Make Yourself Scarce on Valentines Day
There's a lot of truth here. Guys want it always to be smooth, in fact most of their bitching is because they're scared/don't know how to deal with women. You just got to realize, sometimes the only gift a woman's got to give is chaos. Deal with it, get her past it, then fuck her to set things right.

It's actually a live call in show Monday-Friday 3 PM - 6 PM PST. I listen every week, blowmeuptom.com should still work. You can also listen on the Tune In App, message me if you can't find it.

RE: Tom Leykis: 7 Reasons to Make Yourself Scarce on Valentines Day
Heh -- I just tuned into Leykis and he was talking about this (I actually live in the area):

"In midst of storm, Georgia sheriff's office 'cancels' Valentine's Day"

http://www.today.com/news/midst-storm-ge...2D12107750

Quote:No doubt some last-minute gift-givers in Georgia rejoiced when they heard the news: The Oconee County Sheriff's Office has "canceled" Valentine's Day.

On Wednesday, snow and icy roads prompted the Sheriff’s Office to post a humorous message on Facebook declaring a swath of north Georgia a “No Valentine’s Day Zone.”

“The Oconee County Sheriff's Office announces that Valentine’s Day has been CANCELLED from a line North of I-16 to the Georgia/Tennessee border,” the post read. “Men who live in the designated 'NO VALENTINES DAY ZONE' are exempt from having to run out and buy lottery scratchers and Hershey bars from the corner stores until February 18, 2014, due to ice, snow, freezing rain."
