The question was just to spark discussion, to date, I don't recall ever asking for advice here as it pertained to women, I just give it.

No one will question you for rolling with an 8 or 9 that's 5'3", but when a chick is a stunner that's 5'8"+ without heels, people start to notice. I recall reading somewhere on a blog that actresses are taller than average while female pornstars are not, because height is a status marker even in women.

Also, if you segregated girls by height, I'd bet that girls around 5'8 are the hottest. 5'10" and up they diverge into mannish or lanky types. Most extremely tall girls, think 6'+, are ugly, but when they're hot, it's like holy fuck. They have way more presence than their horter peers.

Height alone, as long as she's not in legal midget or giant territory, will not consciously affect my 1-10 rankings.

Just today I saw a solid 9 in the gym that was probably only 4'11".

As we've discussed here many times before however, the difference between a 9 and a 10 often comes down to personal preference. If you prefer blonde's with blue eyes between 5'6" and 5'10" then a girl who's 5'3" couldn't be a dime to you.

I bet she'd be a dime to some guy who was 5'7" though.

In a universal sense, she needs to be above 5'8" but below 6'.

For my own purposes, I don't like them past 5'4"

Height is a non issue to me when it comes to a bang. Ive taken down girls from 4"11 to 6"2.

If I had to choose a female to accompany me to an art gallery or some other kind of formal social event I would probably prefer she was around 5"10 with heels on because like basil said they have more presence.

I'm surprised the point of the thread has been misinterpreted so poorly.

This is not a neg/shit test/newb/PUA-dork related thread, so who cares who told the chick what or that she was told anything at all; it's not about that, the conversation just made me think about short, attractive women versus tall, attractive women, so we're discussing thoughts on that.

Does height affect dime status? Ignoring the fact that there are, technically, no real "dimes", my answer is...sort of.

I couldn't agree that a girl at 5'3" couldn't be a "dime". I actually like shorter girls, and that's an almost ideal height for me. When I look back on the girls who I've fallen hardest for in my life, I find that they've generally been in that 5'2" - 5'4" range. I've seen women I'd consider physically elite (by my standards) as short as 4'11", and quite a few of my favorite models/actresses are under 5'2".

I don't tend to view height as a negative unless the girl is extremely short (less than 4'11" would probably be my cutoff) or very tall. I use my height, 5'11", as the cutoff for that "very tall" category beyond which I tend to shy away. You'll notice that supermodels tend to come in just under that measure (the vast majority of Victoria's Secret girls are 5'9" or 5'10).

TL;DR: I can consider any girl between 4'11"and 5'11" physically elite, though in my personal life I've tended to gravitate to girls in the 5'2" - 5'4" range.

Yes.

Short girls are never better than cute to me no matter how "hot" someone else may think they are.

My ideal is about 5'8"-9" so when she's got heels on she's 6' or a little over. I don't care for big height differences.

I 've always understood the 1-10 scale to be purely aesthetic in nature. A girl can be a 9 and a complete bitch (usually), or a 9 and be very feminine and nurturing.

Its just one part of the SMV combine. A girl scoring a 9 is like an NFL prospect running a 4 second forty. Very impressive, but only one part of the equation in deciding whether or not they'll be a good fit on the team.
