Sounds like a great way to get yourself dismissed from the gallery because of sexual harassment. A lot of gallery owners are gay guys who have dealt with discrimination themselves and will not find this funny.

This is a perpetuation of the grand illusion women have that they are routinely dismissed for "being a woman".

I argue that women face the same, maybe slightly more scrutiny as men. Any newcomer to any playing field is going to have to go through some trials and tribulations.

If it turns out you didn't quite make it, it's not because you're a woman. It's because you simply aren't good enough.

Especially as an artist, if this woman indeed has any expertise, her work would speak for itself. She could simply do art showings under a pseudonym or anonymous, and if her work was truly that exceptional, she'd have no problem being taken seriously. This is art for fuck's sake, it's not like it's a heavily testosterone-filled environment like an oil rig or a baseball team.

Her means of coping only reinforces supposedly antiquated Freudian notions. A true hamster, proudly on display here.

Let's be clear. Having a penis doesn't earn you a spot at the negotiating table.

Every guy who is there had to earn his way there. There are just so many spots at the table.

When a women feels like she has to prove herself, she's actually being treated with equality.

For the guys who make it to the table, they know they aren't there because they have a penis. They are there because the have something of value to offer.

Conclusion: If having a penis makes a woman feel more secure and confident, she probably falls into the camp of men who need to talk about how alpha they are and have dick measuring contests.

Guys who actually have something of value to offer and know it. They don't need other ways to feel confident, because all they need to do is smile, nod, say "Oooooooookkkkkkkkkkk" and go back to enjoying the awesome life they've either built for themselves or inherited.

I cannot imagine what would happen if any of my employees showed a 1-1/2'' bronze dick to a potential client or negotiating partner. They would certainly be fired, and I might have to restrain myself from physically attacking them.
I've been in any number of negotiations and sales presentations. Some have gone well, some have gone okay, and some have gone absolutely disastrously. I can think of NONE that would have been improved with the additional of a metal micropenis.

Thankfully, it looks like her kickstarter is going to fail, so at least the world has some sense.
