I am a non US citizen, who works in different locations around the world.

Can anyone recommend a good "offshore" online broker in a country that still offers bank secrecy? It should be in a reasonably big country (Im not interested in small jurisdictions like Panama or Belize)

10 years ago Switzerland and Luxembourg had some good brokers like Internaxx, but in the past few years both countries have relaxed their bank secrecy laws and can now share client information with tax authorities.

I understand many people have now moved their offshore accounts from Switzerland to Singapore.

Appreciate any suggestions or links to other sources of information/forums/websites that cover this area.

Hong Kong. Honestly, this isnt really the right forum for this type of stuff.

If you are a non US citizen, and don't work in the USA, Id recommend keeping money in the US banks. Whats the difference anyways, if you are on the level?

Set up a new mexico based LLC, open a bank acct. No names on your bank account. Thats pretty solid start already.

Careful with sovereign man, its not usually correct, search up A&P Intertrust. Hong Kong is a part of China and therefore doesnt answer to America. Singapore while admirable in its own right can still be bullied on the world stage.

If you are in a position where you are looking to set up an offshore structure, then I also assume that you have the money to hire a professional? That's the best bet in your case. Also, is bank secrecy that important?

If you set things up properly then you can have a perfectly legal 0% tax structure set up. Even without the bank secrecy, your assets are still protected to a much higher degree.
