Sorry to post twice in a row on a thread.

But I discovered the Web site Total Sorority Move did an article on the writer of this piece a few months ago. Apparently, she's a nut job and her bitter rantings stem from a nasty breakup with an ex, who is a fraternity guy.

You can check the whole soap opera out here.

But more importantly, it also includes links showing something she wrote after the breakup, which inspired her ex-boyfriend, Eddie Cuffin, to write a Return of Kings-like opinion piece for Elite Daily called "The Reasons Why You Never Want To Marry A Sorority Girl." His "listicle" is hilarious -- and on the mark -- and makes me wonder if he's read Return of Kings.

Some of his reasons not to marry them include: that they're entitled, needy, disloyal, messy, lazy, and they think too much of themselves.

We should give Eddie a (metaphorical) pat on the back for dropping Red Pill knowledge into the elitist New York media scene. I know editors in this scene, and for him to get that published is a big deal. Elite Daily is billed as being "the voice of Gen Y," so I'd also suggest any of you ROK writers in that age bracket should see if you can freelance over there too.

Last night I went to a party full of UMC girls like that elite daily one, but older Gen Y (28-29 y.o). They are exactly as you described in #19. And being a few years older, they also have lost the looks that the elite daily girl still has (most have got fat) except that they don't know it yet. They still acted like they're too good for most men, while most men at the party were queuing up to chat with a younger hotter girl and a friendly slutty one, and ignoring the chubby yuppies.

I did talk to some of those just for kicks. They sound very much like a corporate drone, with zero passion and no life outside of work, shopping and watching TV shows or youtube. They're getting fat and old fast - faster than reasonable for their relatively young age. And #18 might be right too - I certainly couldn't sense any sexuality coming from those drones.

I know exactly what you mean.

Even girls in my age bracket (24-25), who have recently graduated from university and have been working in the corporate environment for perhaps a year or two, are like this.

Literally, the only thing they can have an in-depth conversation about is their work environment. All they talk about is the direction their company is going in, and how they plan on climbing the corporate ladder and getting that promotion.
