Haha. You've got to be joking. Please explain this, because turmeric is such a strong dye that it could probably permanently discolor your teeth.

Guys, if you brush your teeth with turmeric, you'll have BROWN teeth.

It will whiten your teeth and STAIN EVERYTHING ELSE so dear god be careful of it splashing on your bathroom mirror, sink etc. It will look like you had diarrhea in your sink.

I use one toothbrush to brush with turmeric - the brush and your teeth will be brown..

then a SECOND toothbrush to brush with normal toothpaste.

Your teeth will be sparkly white

I've given out a few whitening kits. They work well, but as OP said you have to be fanatical about your oral hygenie. Also 1 more tip, don't drink colored beverages or food immediately after whitening.

Whitening opens the pores of teeth, allowing the whitening agent to work. This also works for colored foods and stains.

Be wary of over-doing it, yes it can damage the gums or cause hypersensitivity to hot/cold

Lately I'm finding that no matter what I do, they're getting more yellow. I use whitening gel now and again and also activated charcoal. Drink one or two coffees per day and have good oral hygiene. Still yellow. Is the coffee that bad that I'll have to totally give it up to have whiter teeth?

The dentist told me the color of your teeth should make the white color of your eyes. It kind of makes sense, because I once met a remodeling contractor in his 50s with super white and straight teeth. It stood out too much and looked odd. I thought to myself, while I would like better looking teeth, I wouldn't want to look like that.
