Anyone have any info on renting short term apartments in Cartagena and Santa Marta?

I wanna rent a decent good value apartment for one week in each location.

Hmm....you could search the old poorbuthappy forums to see if anything comes up. Or search online for apartment rental agencies. Regardless, expect to pay a lot for a one-week rental.

most sites online are expensive.

you can get rentals from locals and small time operations for 50 a night.

i found a nice one in Cartagena for 50 a night, but i gotta get paypal account set up and that takes like 5 days. Hopefully it will still be available.

Get at Juan Ventura he can set you up nicely in Cartagena and should have information on Santa Marta as well. I have used his services several times and he has good apartments and great rates. Highly recommended.

I dont reccomend the short term apt rentals in Colombia, they will ring you dry. it seems they raised rates to above Miami levels. Work out a deal with a hotel for the month, most will do a deal for under 500.00.
