Nope, she just has a very cunning team of lawyers and publicists.

When was the last time you heard anything about Lindsay in the past six months?

This "scandal" keeps her relevant, is harmless enough, and in the very likely chance it gets dismissed, it just cost her some 50k perhaps. And in case she wins, she just gets more media.
