So I meet this girl at the college i am attending here in Argentina and she invited me to come travel with her to her home country of Chile ( mind you i meet this girl 1 day ago) she is reasonably cute for a Chilean girl, I went and looked on her facebook and it seems that she has a boyfriend ,so my question is should i make a pass at her or wait and see if she has any hotter friends? Or is she inviting me on this trip something that im missing?

Why would you not take this opportunity up? What's the worst that could happen?

If you get a chance to have a cool local chick show you around, you can't lose. You'll get into her social network and probably hook up with her friends.

Yeah, you gotta take the opp and do it but lower your expectations. It is much more common for ppl in South America to do stuff like this. They are usually just being friendly to strangers.

Chilenas are usually very friendly, especially towards Americans. I would not totally rule out the possibility of banging her, all women cheat imo, but just go for the fun experience expecting nothing but getting to know her culture. It should be fun for you no doubt.

Let her lead, and drop signs that she wants you to come on to her..and NEVER mention her boyfriend.
