Just to clear up, it's a VERY bad idea to wait for symptoms to go in and be tested as a male of the species. It's very common for us penis-possessors to be carriers for diseases that can seriously fuck up a woman, or can be fucking us up without symptoms whatsoever.

People often carry herpes, HPV, and chlamydia for years and years with no symptoms. Syphilis is a disease that literally eats your brain slowly over the course of a decade or more. And it's easily treatable with antibiotics, but the brain damage is irreversible if you just let the disease take its course...

Anybody with any real numbers of sex partners should get tested minimum every six months. Unfortunately, herpes and HPV don't show up on a test unless you're symptomatic!

The other more important thing is it is highly advisable to WEAR A DAMN CONDOM FOR FUCK'S SAKE! They work seriously well. I've had hundreds of women and not even the first MOLECULE of a disease, because I practice safe sex.

I'm a firm believer also in that your lifestyle has a massive effect on your immune system, and keeping your diet right, hitting the gym, etc helps your body immensely to fight off infection. But the condom is your best friend if you're gonna be sleeping around, which I assume just about everybody reading this is.

I called a local lab and got quoted $160 for syphillis testing, Planned Parenthood was about the same, my Dr was even more. Logged onto the website (mobile) and they had the lab I called initially as a provider for $80. Left the window open but put my phone away to think it over and when I opened the window later a 20% off coupon popped up - $63 unsubsidized cost. Sold. In and out of the same lab that tried to gouge me earlier in under 10 minutes, no appointment needed.

24 hours later got the results online, negative. Password setup was glitchy but they eventually got it right.

Gorgiass can you use insurance on that site? For anyone with no insurance, try a clinic in the gay part of town. That is scary what Rubio93 said about syphilis.

Welcome to the thread full of paranoia . If you cover up with a condom but only do oral sex without it you usually have little to worry about. Still get tested once a year but the chances from oral sex are quite low.

They did have an option yes, but usually by the time you do copays, coinsurance, deductibles and everything else you might as well pay out of pocket for this stuf. That's been my experience anyway. If you're ever in Philly check out the Mutter Museum. They have skulls of terminal syphillis patients as well as wax busts, among other oddities. Disturbing stuff, which is why I want to avoid it.

Fortunately my town has no gay part...

I had to send an awkward text like this at one time. I had a gf and hookd up wiht a craigslist girl. Shortly after my dick was kind of itching and burning. This was especially concerning as I had to put off sex with my gf and needed to get this checked out.

I didn't wanna have to go get the std test so first called the girl had a hard time getting a hold of her. Finally had a few texts back and forth, she said she was all good, gets tested regularly.

Wound up going geting checked myself, must have wound up getting 3 different STd tests, on the last one the women said the stick in your dick is more accurate than a pee test so I opted for that very uncomfortable test opposed to the piss test. Again found nothing.

Was super uncomfortable for probably over a month and kind of freaking out. It was espcially inconvenient as not only did I have a gf at the time but was also fucking with this brazilian au pair over here for a year so having to not fuck two chicks was a hassle.

I never really figured out what it was, got some meds for a UTI and drank a lot of water and maybe 6 weeks later things finally seemed to clear up but never found out what it was.

If your looking for logistics of how to get an STD test you can just go to your doctor, some people are eitehr embaressed or don't want it showing up on insurance so you could also go to like a planned parenthood or some type of open community clinic or even the county normally does couple days a week.

Typically its a pee test and maybe a blood test, the stick in your dick was old school not really done much anymore though I have had it twice.

That being said, I wouldn't even bother. Most STDs clear up without intervention and take fucking ages for them to develop into something damaging

Most cities have free walk-in clinics. Google and then call them.

If you're screwing lots of girls regularly, especially rawdog then you should get checked frequently.

There's something called charity health check at the hospital or something like that. They basically will cover it for free if you don't have insurance. Inquire about it at the hospital.
