Tom Torero posted 2 videos of a place in Russia that seems to be one of his secret favorites. For anyone who's been there it should be easy to identify because of the square tiles in the sidewalk. I'm pretty sure it's not Moscow. Can anyone tell me what city this is?

My view is that it doesn't look like Moscow. Given the angle of the sunlight and different type of trolleybus I saw in the beginning it seems like it could be St. Petersburg. Also the streets looks a bit cleaner and more orderly than in Moscow. Just my opinion, it's hard to tell.

Agreed it looks like St. Pete.

I don't have time to do the sleuthing online, but in the first video you can see a "Кафе Georgia" and Trolleybus No. 11.

You should be able to figure it out with a little google-fu.

EDIT: Yes, it's Nevsky Prospekt.

For someone's first post, this sure looks like stealth marketing, especially when one of the videos announces a new product launch and the OP has not made a single post about anything Russian related that shows his interest in the region.

Seriously? I'm either Tom Torero or marketing for him?

I was just in Kiev, Ukraine and was going to post video I shot but I don't want to be accused of "stealth marketing".

Yep. Not worth the time and effort to get a warning and suspention over "stealth marketing" which can mean anything.
