Rumor is MMA guy is going home to surprise pornstar girlfriend with a marriage proposal, only to find her "entertaining" another guy.

Unclear who the guy was, and what sort of entertainment was going on.

At most he kicked her in the legs, decking her after smacking her in the face. A professional MMA fighter with a screw loose is going to mess her face up really bad. Her nose isn't even smashed up and her eyes aren't completely black and red.

She is an idiot but what do you expect from a pornstar? This guy is a chump for even trying to have her as his girl let alone his fucking wife.

He took my phone and cancelled all of my plans for the following week to make sure no one would worry about my whereabouts. He told me he was going to rape me, but was disappointed in himself when he could not get hard. After another hit or two, he left me on the floor bleeding and shaking, holding my side from the pain of my rib. He left the room and went to the kitchen where I could hear him ruffling through my drawers. Assuming he was finding a sharper, more stable knife to end my life, I ran out my back door, shutting it behind me so the dogs didn't run inside to tip him off. I hopped the fence to the golf course behind my house and ran to a neighboring house. Naked and afraid he would catch me, I kept running through the neighborhood knocking on doors. Finally, one answered and I was brought to the hospital and treated for my injuries.

I would like to thank everyone for their support through this rough time. I am healing fast and well, and I appreciate all of the prayers and visits I have received over the past few days. After many months of fear and pressure to keep this man happy, although I fear for my life, I feel that I can no longer put myself in this situation. The cheating by him nearly every day, and almost weekly abuse is now more than I can stand. There is a $10k reward for the capture of Jonathan Koppenhaver at this time. Please report any information to your local police.

It's hard to decide what to think about this. I mean, even taking everything Christy says as accurate--and I'm inclined to believe her in general because it's not like she beat the shit out of herself--we're clearly looking at two people with psychological issues who finally crashed and burned.

War Machine sounds like a total chump. Yeah, what a shock that your fairly freaky porn star girlfriend (or ex) doesn't behave like a proper young lady. Planning on proposing to a chick like that? Get the fuck out of here. Then he fucks up his life and is looking at jail time over a chick whose sole value is in how far she's willing to go in the sack. Shit, find yourself an inexperienced college freshman and train her if that's what you want.

He's looking at at least his second felony, based on what I see on Wikipedia, and he might be going down for 25 to life if this is his third or they charge him with two counts for beating two people. He could've easily killed her, so this could be attempted murder. Way to go, champ. Honestly the dude sounds like he belongs in jail, he obviously has no control of his emotions and is constantly getting in fights.

As for Christy, well, she's obviously not all there. Porn star, fairly extreme body modification, stays in an abusive relationship, etc. Sucks for her that she ended up this way, but she's lucky to be alive. Hopefully she won't suffer permanent damage from the beating, cosmetic or otherwise. At least he didn't cut up her face.

The bits about weekly abuse and regular cheating, eh, who knows. I could see him beating her because he clearly has the emotional control of a toddler, but the cheating sounds like something she's just saying to paint herself in a better light. If he was pulling tail left and right, why would he be so emotionally invested in her that he completely lost his shit over this?

My honest reaction initially was, and still is, "I hope she doesn't lose her looks." Otherwise, don't really care. It's just one more case of play stupid games, win stupid prizes on both their parts. War Machine is done (again, assuming the story is accurate), but maybe Christy will learn a lesson from this and make some changes in her life before she ends up dead.

I don't know who to blame: The guy for dating/ getting worked up over a pornstar, aka whore, or the girl for being with a somewhat emotionally unstable guy.

Also doubt both their stories are 100% true. His sounds a bit fanciful (proposing marriage), hers sounds a bit too violent.

My advice? Leave the dregs to themselves. Fuck them, I don't watch porn or MMA, I'm focused on my own hustle. The guy is emotionally unstable, the girl is a whore. They deserve one another.

I hate to sound soft, but really I think guys on RVF are so jaded and have such a negative "fuck women" attitude that it's kind of sad and counter productive to being a happy well balanced person. I can feel sympathy for Christy Mack even though she's a nasty porn bitch that does ass to mouth, she's still a person, a member of the weaker and more vulnerable sex, and didn't deserve to be attacked like that. True.

I'm not a doctor but I am a trained (inexperienced) EMT and her facial swelling, especially the bruising on her eyes, says basilar skull fracture to me. You don't get facial swelling like that without smashing your face into something, or in this case having something smashed into your face. I can easily believe she has a handful of facial fractures based on the pictures alone.

The leg injury might be a hairline fracture somewhere, or just significant soft tissue damage that made her stiffen up so much she can't use her leg. Who knows, maybe she has torn muscles or tendon issues.

Don't know about the rib and liver, but if she had a lacerated liver it couldn't have been too bad or she would've A) bled to death or B) needed immediate surgery at the ER before she bled to death internally. However, I am positive I could give a woman internal bleeding with a single kick, and I'm also positive a pro MMA fighter can kick harder than I can, so I don't find her claim unrealistic.

I guess we'll find out in the next few days/weeks, but I'm fairly familiar with injuries for a number of reasons and nothing about her claims seem off based on the pictures she released.

Well, I think it sucks that it happened but really, the warning signs were all there for her. She knew he was violent and emotionally unstable and she stuck with him, and didn't take measures to protect herself once they broke up. I mean damn, get a freaking Glock 19 and learn to use it if you have a crazy ex who can beat you to death without raising a sweat.

I've guess I've seen too many people I do care about ignore the warning signs and pilot their lives right into the harsh cliff of reality to get worked up over the problems of a woman I've never met.

That's not to say I had no reaction. As a man, it's programmed in me to feel outrage and anger when I see an attractive woman hurt. So when I saw her pictures, I was unhappy about it and thought how nice it would be to kneecap the person who did it. I have always had extremely protective instincts, and I've done some interesting things in the past when women I cared about were threatened or hurt. But I've learned to control my inner white knight.

I think you're misinterpreting reserved skepticism with being jaded. There's nothing wrong with asking for proof first in light of everything we know about how skewed things are in U.S. society and the media. I don't condone this woman getting her ass kicked.

However, let's be real frank here..a lot of women like this bring it on themselves with the loose cannons they date and enable.

As I see it, we have two Dregs plying their trades here. For simplicity, let's call them Dreg 1 and Dreg 2.

Dreg 1:

Dreg 2:

The guy has more than a few screws loose. I'm guessing a combination of low IQ, shitty/abusive childhood, one or more personality disorders, brain trauma from fighting and substance abuse. That's just a recipe for disaster, doubly so for a trained fighter with a hair trigger temper.

I don't take pleasure in seeing anyone suffer, but it's difficult to have sympathy for this girl. She should have known the kind of man she was getting involved with. Women have to understand that there's always a price to pay for the 'gina tingles they instinctively get from violent, unpredictable men.

Anyway, I hope she makes a full recovery and is much wiser for the experience, and I hope he does at least a 10 year stretch. Clearly a menace to society at this point.
