The advice about not showing all your cards to a girl you just met is to not give her all your personal info. But, what if you met a girl 5 mintues ago on the street. She asks where you're from and what you do. Would it be ok to answer her indirectly, like, "What do I do?.. Well, I'm a chef at Burger King."

I ask because the street isn't exaclty a club where you can say shit like that. On the street, you have to give more comfort than in a club setting.

How would I answer those kinds of personal questions from a girl I just met on the street 5 minutes ago?

when a girl ask you a personal question, attraction has been set and you must be genuine in your communication so mo more teasing and heavy jokes until the first meet.

Being mysterious is the last thing you want to do in the street. The window for them to decide go walk on or chat is narrow so you want to show that you are an ok guy and not some weiredo, creep, bum, monster, etc. Why be mysterious if you have nothing to hide?

I vote for dress. The way you dress should be mysterious. A pair of custom shoes or a simple leather band that no other guy is wearing is enough to intrigue a lot of chicks.

I'm no pro but the words seem to be irrelevant. You'll be mysterious and intriguing if you are mysterious and intriguing.

I agree. Being well dressed on the streets makes girls wonder what you are up to, especially given that casual dressing is the norm.

The intention isn't to joke or tease. But by being mysterious in not answering these questions directly, you boost attraction. I'm not saying you should "dodge" these questions all the time. But enough to spike her attrction.

For example, I was at a dinner party. Girls there asked me personal questions like, what I do, where I'm from, etc. I didn't answer directly. They kept asking me the same questions since I didn't give them an answer they expected. They went crazy. It increased my attraction greatly and helped my game big time.

Thats why I want to know if I can bring this kind of game to the street. Will it give the same result as in the dinner party.

That's true. But, I also don't think you should show all your cards either. This being true, to what extent should I give as much info about myself without losing that mystery, which is attractive? Because once you give away too much of yourself, attraction is lost.

The first task is building comfort and rapport on a street approach. This is done while showing her that you are interesting and worth investing time with. The mysterious part can be done once you sit down with her for a drink. Then evading questions and push-pull can be done more effectively because you built up enough comfort.

You're not mysterious by avoiding common question that normal people ask. You're just a tool by doing that. I mean you can tease once or twice as a joke but when a girl really wants to know that then it's a good sign usually. So just answer. It's fine.

In my opinion, on the street is not a place to be mysterious.

If you want strangers to know you, you want to be the opposite of mysterious.

Running game via social circles - now, that might be a time to be mysterious. Or once a girl has already started to get curious about you.

But most guys trying to be mysterious come across as grouchy, boring, and antisocial. I used to always make this mistake - I probably still do.

That sounds like that can work. I think I've done something along those lines before and it worked wonders. But I also believe that even when you're establishing rapport when you meet a girl on the street that you should reveal just enough without revealing all your cards. Enough to keep her guessing about you and interested. Otherwise, you'll come across as non-challenging and try-hard.

That's true. But as Dantes said above, I think its best to be mysterious after you establish rapport with a girl when you take her out for a drink or something like that.
