RE: Have you fallen in love with a city?
San Francisco - SF is truly magical. You see so much crazy shit on the streets. Medical weed. Amazing food. Great Jiu Jitsu. Temperamental weather.

It has its down sides of course, like loads of vegan hipsters and politically correct thought policers. Queers all over the damn place. Crazy drugged out mofos in the mission accosting you. Tech snobbery and general elitism the likes of which I've never seen anywhere else.

But...it's still one of the coolest places on earth.

Madison Wisconsin:

Every bar is like Cheers and you can drink yourself to death for $20. You can overdose on college sports and the packers. There are unpretentious college girls, government interns and graduate students everywhere. For a single guy a night can be like this...

Open any girl with "go packers", order $1 shots, venue change to your affordable apartment within a 10 minute walk from the good bars.

San Diego (lived there for two months). It's as close to perfect of an American city you can get:

-Very friendly people

-Awesome weather

-Conservative politics

-Great beaches

-Endless bars and some of the best Mexican cuisine in the country

-Diversity (White, Black, Asian, Latino it's all here)

-Low Crime

-Beautiful women who are approachable with no attitude

I've never been to Texas (want to check it out someday) but have met several black girls from there (number closed one in the club once) and I damn near nut myself each time. Great feminine attitudes, curves, that slow, southern drawl, was pretty much a 180 from the ghetto trash I'm used to in my home town of Baltimore.

I'm thinking of hitting up Houston (I have a thing for coastal cities) and South Padre, which I heard is a great party. Knew several people who lived near Houston and could not stop talking about how great it is.

RE: Have you fallen in love with a city?
There is no ideal city that I visited and fell in love with. If there was, I would probably be there already. There are a few cities that I really liked, though, and would like to come back there:

Singapore: very clean, modern, safe and efficient.
Bangkok: a lot has been said about it already. Amazing city.
Hong Kong: I always thought it was boring for some reason until I visited and found out that it's anything but. I'm definitely coming back.
Jakarta: I really like the girls there, but the city itself is a dump except for the best neighborhoods which are still not walkable.
Ubud (Bali). A small town/village with an unique vibe.

Prague: great architecture and, of course, beer.
Amsterdam: excellent architecture.
St Petersburg, but only in summer.

RE: Have you fallen in love with a city?
Portland, Maine - In the Spring through Fall. Never lived there in the Winter, but heard it's brutal.

The air is the most crisp and pure I've ever experienced. The city itself is very clean. The restaurant scene is one of, if not the best in the country, in quantity and quality. The Old Port is the main downtown area and has a lot of great shops, bars, restaurants, but there are also restaurants and bars interspersed throughout the surrounding neighborhoods too. The seafood is off the charts. The Art scene is awesome. Bought four very nice oil pastels while I was there and would've liked to have bought more.

Good live music venue at the State Theatre. I lived on the West End, but anywhere you live in Portland is walkable to anywheres, which is really great.

All the sidewalks in the entire town are brick which is kind of cool. Portland is a perfect cross between a town and a city that is incredibly walkable. People are friendly, but this is a liberal town by and large so there are lot of hipsters, feminists, etc.

RE: Have you fallen in love with a city?
This is the type of scenery that puts a smile on face, I think it's somewhere in Portugal, but I think I could really base myself in a Mediterranean town like this, or even somewhere in Mexico with similar scenery. Somewhere seaside with palm trees, sunny blue sky, dense walkable streets, historic architecture, chill vibe. Hopefully there's be some nice chics around and there won't be any xenophobia or skinhead problems.

I've never been to Lisbon, Portugal but from the pictures it looks like about as close to my ideal city as I've seen. Unfortunately everyone says the women suck, but other than that, it seems like a place I'd really like and it's high up on my list of places to check out and consider relocation in the future.

edit --

A google search on "portuguese women" turns up some pretty bad ass chicas. I figure there must also be some Brazilian immigrant girls too.

Budapest - easily the best city in (eastern) Europe. Used to love this place so much that I moved there permanently in 2012. The city has a great nightlife and an awesome "gritty" feel like no other place. The people are generally warm and friendly and the climate is ok. The ruin-pubs (Romkocsma) are unique and a must see.
The girls in this place however became increasingly westernized and although you are unlikely to see much obesity, there is a general "butterface" problem in this city.

In the end, though Budapest is likely to remain my "home base" for Europe for the time being, it is not the right place for me.

Hong Kong - Right after the first night I spent here it became inmediately obvious to me that this is a "center of the Universe" kind of place! Not only is it a hub for flights between Asia and Europe, every place in Asia is easily reachable. Besides the vibrant nightlife, extremely cute girls and lots of good shopping options, there is also a feeling of opportunity left and right. This city is booming and filled with life like no other place!
The downsides are, of course, a language barrier, and extremely high costs of living, particularely for rent.

...more to come!

RE: Have you fallen in love with a city?
There's a stretch of England incorporating Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, the Peak District and Lancashire. That, with its cities, is pretty much heaven for me and I've the fortune to have lived in it all my life.

My all-time favourite would be Manchester, but then I'm biased.

I should also mention that I like Birmingham a lot, especially when I saw how very rammed full of hot black women it was.

Honourable mentions to Sheffield, Nottingham and Peterborough.

Yeah for Black girls exclusively hit both Houston and Dallas.

RE: Have you fallen in love with a city?
I was dating a girl up in Seattle for awhile and after having flown there 4-5 times in the past year, I really like it, even despite the rainy/foggy nature of the place. Great infrastructure, lively food scene, the bars are great, there's lots of outdoorsy things to do and the diversity of people is quite good... at least all of the Asians that I saw. Smile I wouldn't say I love it, but I'm quite fond of it.

Buenos Aires is a city I would love if not for all of the ridiculous problems that come with living in Argentina: petty crime, lack of food options except for steak & dulce de leche and extremely volatile currency and economy to name a few things.

He's probably talking about Birmingham, England. Not Alabama.
