I was in Jakarta for 2 days and getting laid was too easy if anything. When I went to Dragonfly, girls were approaching me. Easy game.

bit of a dumb post. i've lived here a few years, you visited for 2 days. people can trust who they like.

without responding to everyone's posts, all i'll say is that i've met a few white tourists who've had positive experiences here, but the vast majority do not (again, from my experience wrt to who i've met), or at least they are content with sleeping with 5s from tinder. to each there own i suppose.

if i was your average white tourist with money to travel elsewhere & no bahasa, i'd go elsewhere. that's completely discounting other non-sexual reasons for travelling, in which case indonesia is an incredible place.

I was mostly referring to the other guy who unsurprisingly for himself banned. As it is though, you've said that Jakarta is "difficult for tourists" but I got my flag there in 2 days during which I was working most of the time. Other expats I spoke to also said they were doing very well, so I'm surprised to read your opinion. By all means, drop some data and back it up for us.

Without wanting to be a dick, you might want to slow your roll a little with the confrontational talk until you've been here a while. This place is like a bar that is open for all, but mostly full of regulars. If you're going to make your opinions known, then probably better to "get to know us" first, as it were.

I think echo park is only trying to temper the expectations of other members. It's not necessarily about tourists vs people staying long term... just for average guys, they're probably not going to have as much success as dreambig or Irish did. Maybe the two of you are above average in game or looks...? I personally never had much success in clubs in Jakarta (certainly never had girls approaching me) and resorted to online stuff.

I have been following the Indonesian thread and spend some time there and it seems that almost everybody is doing better there, then in other Asian countries. I personally prefer pale girls with an angular face and thin frame. Is there anywhere in Asia that is relatively easy for these type of girls. Seems like in SE 3rd world asia these type of girls are actually more bitchy then the ones you would find in the first world ones. Indo chicks are definitely my favourite type of asian. IMO Jakarta/Indo chicks are superior to Filipinas in both looks and personality. Generally I prefer their look as they seem to have a more oriental or 'persian' look about them and there are definitely more 9s and 10s kicking about in my experience from the two capital cities (tho couldnt tell you what its like in the more rural areas). The downside of indo chicks however is a lot of them can look a little 'blokey'.

Of my interactions with Indos and Filipinas I find Indos both more feminine and fun. There seems to be more of the Indo socialite party girl types which is my favourite kind (tho I know not to everyone's tastes) and although they tend to be slightly harder nuts to crack and can be bitchier they have better wit & banter about them. They tend to be more confident and dont suffer from the irritating shy giggliness which you can still get with Flipflops (tho not as bad as some other SE Asian girls).

If you are looking to swing for a proper knockout chick in a high end club then go to Jakarta, if you are looking mow through a pile of 6s in a short space of time on a 2 week poosy safari vacation then the Philippines is your place

Also I too was surprised at people hating on Jakarta the high end talent is definitely accessible. Maybe people were trying to run an asshole/cocky western game which goes over very badly in JKT. In the Anglosphere a beginner will get a lay anywhere between 100-200 approaches. Intermediate should go down to 50-100. Advanced should be 20-50.
