I think that when we were all kids we were all alpha. Teasing girls was natural and approach anxiety was unheard of. I struggle with approaching now and it got me to thinking why I developed approach anxiety. My mind raced back to the first approach I ever made. I was like 6 years and it was the first week of school. There was this cute girl by the name of Vyonne. She was biracial with pony tails and I was head over heels. She was your typical loud mouthed girl who wanted to be the centre of attention. So after the last lesson of the day I approached her. My game was hella direct. I was like, 'Vyonne, I love you.' I was expecting she would say something along the lines of, 'Pride male, I love you too!' Instead she smacked me real hard and screamed,'You love me?! You don't even know me...bla bla fucking bla!' Anyways I ran out of there like a bat out of hell. It took me a couple of weeks for me to get over it but I still think about sometimes.

Without getting to Freudian about it, what was your 'Game' like when you were a kid and what was your first approach like? Did it have any effect on your teenage years?

I was approached before I ever approached. However, the first approach I did off my own back was ok-ish. I was in Morrocco and me and this chick did the look back over shoulder at the same time and I waved her over and just asked for her number in front of my friends. I got the number but never texted her.

My first "day game" cold approach (that I remember) was when I was 15. I was riding bikes with friend around neighbourhood when I spotted those two chicks being alone infront of local school. I went there and talked them up. After a while I msn messenger closed them (that was popular) and got them to send me sexy photos. Never met them again tho.

I drove my Honda Shadow to the Harbor in Baltimore with the plan of cold opening 5 girls for my first ever cold openings. I couldn't find parking and ended up in Federal Hill. So naturally I pussed out on talking to any girls on the street and went into a bar called Stalking Horse. I ended up getting the bartender's number, but I felt like a failure because I didn't cold open anyone.

As I was walking back to my bike I saw what to me looked like a 10 in a red t-shirt across the street. I watched her go by and I did nothing. I felt like a royal piece of shit.

I walked back to my bike disgusted with myself. I remember feeling like, fuck me, I have no balls, I am a fucking loser and I'm going to be a pussy forever.

Riding down the cobblestone street I saw a girl on the sidewalk. It was the 10 in the red shirt! I felt like God was giving me a second chance. I rode my bike about ten feet passed her and waited. My adrenalin was pumping. As she walked by I yelled "Hey!" She looked at me and smiled, but she kept walking. I shouted "What's your name!?" She kept walking.

But I felt fucking great, like the hardest thing I'd ever do was over, and it wasn't that bad at all.

First approach was when I was 6. Grandfather's house we had guests over and I see this little girl around my age with platinum blonde hair. She looked like a little princess to me as a little kid and I accidentally bumped into her. At first we were both nervous but then she wanted to hit me for bumping into her so hard. I grabbed her hand and stopped her then asked her name. After that she was my most precious childhood friend until she passed away.

First approach ever before I was game aware was in my campus union coffee shop. Blonde girl giving me IOI's, and I asked about her book she was reading. Got her number, but didn't contact her ever, until I saw her there again. Asked her out to lunch and frozen yogurt, and then after that we had dinner once.

I only did approaching in the daytime after coming across game. After walking around with a wing for a few hours and havingvdone nothing thought better to start talking. Saw some Chinese girl who was probably a 4 and asked for directions who said she didn't know and promptly walked away.
