feigning sickness
As per the title, this thread will be about feigning sickness to your doctor to get an Mc (medical certificate)

I've gotten 7 days mc when I went to the accident and emergency because 'my back hurts and I heard my bone crack while deadlifting' I yelled in pain when the doctor performed the stiff legged hamstring test (to check for slip disc) and got referred to an orthopedic.

Other excuses I've used.
- chest pain
- headache
- numbeness in my leg
- stomachache
- burning sensation when I urinate
- cramp in the neck
- couldn't sleep last night
- vomiting
- allergies
- fell down the stairs
- slipped and fell in the shower

What illnesses have you feigned to get an mc?

RE: feigning sickness
If you're in a position where there's no consequence to you calling in sick then go for it, after all if you're working for someone else's goals you should always be aiming to get yourself paid first.

I would say your time is far better spent working towards your own goals, or in the employee of someone who's goals you share. In which case faking sickness is counter productive. When it comes to schooling either study something you want to learn, or don't study at all. You are your own man, there's no need to pull a sickie, just don't show up to class if you feel there's something more pressing.

If working a job you dislike so much that you want to fake illness to get out of it doesn't inspire you to break free from the corporate binds then what will? I accept at times you need to work u live, but outside of that you'd best be busting your ass to get sidelines going. Have a damn plan to have enough passive income or marketable skills to be able to say fuck that to anything you don't want to do.

Now if you're looking to fake sickness to scam the welfarm state I'm all ears, every system should you worked to your advantage.
