One of the things I always love to that and always do is to call a girl by a name she's not used to.

If you can come up with some related nickname to give her that is awesome but it can be just simple as using her last name when talking to her and adressing her.

She will be a little irritated by that and will almost always call you out on that and tell you to stop doing that in a playful way.

Furthermore, it will be something by she remembers you because she's used to everybody calling her the same.

In addition, it puts you over her like you're adressing to a little girl.

Just my two cents, I do not know if this has been posted already.

Also check out krauserpua for his posts. He has many covering how he uses nick names with a lot of actual text conversation breakdowns. Also heartiste covers this as well. You will find this can be very effective. Bonus, it can also be effective with male friendships/coworkers. I have one friend that continuously makes up new nicknames for me (and I rarely rarely have nicknames). It's pretty entertaining.
