I commute to my uni town 2 days a week and although I approach at least once a day , I find myself not approaching as much as I should/would as I recently I went through a situation that opened my eyes to the possibility of being known as " that guy " on my uni campus .


When I first got into game back in November , I was forcing myself to approach in difficult situations to improve my game faster .

I ended approaching a girl in my lecture group (who I'll call X) who was giving me major IOIs however I was a beginner and she rejected my advances .

Luckily after this event we had a one month spring break and I used this time to improve my game tremendously.

Fast forward to last week I run into her close friend (which I'll call Y) at the train station whilst going to uni, this was the first day back from a one month break so I wasn't too sure if it was her . I ended up approaching her with an indirect opener and she recognised me .

Anyway we talked throughout the train trip and I was teasing her endlessly , I'm sure I won her over . I arrived to the lecture with her and I saw X stare at us . I greeted X warmly as I wanted to prove that I was comfortable with her earlier rejection and that I won't be acting wierd around her .

Today I ran into Y again at the same train station and we talked some more , however during the train ride her two beta orbiters came and I saw that the way she was acting towards me was similar to the way she was acting towards her boring beta orbiters . I choose to retract from the conversation and stare at the window rather than to add to the attention she was enjoying from her orbitors.

Anyways later on in the day I number closed a cute girl ( which I'll call Z ) with the intention of " hanging out " that is in the same group as us and we had a good energy going , I arrive into the lecture with her and through the corner of my eye I see X and Y staring at us .

At the end of the lecture i bump into X and I make a compliment on her blazer . She responds with a cold " Thank you " . And her friend Y says slyly " He needs it for his little sister "

It's obviously a slick reference to the Indirect opener I used on both of them .

Now obviously those slick comments don't effect me in the slightest and it's obvious their both jealous that I'm able to move on the next so quickly unlike their beta orbiters . ( Both of them seem to share beta orbitors by the way )

However this has opened my eyes to the possibility of been known as " That guy " on my small uni campus .

Everybody seems to move in cliques and if I was to approach as much as I do when I'm in my regular town I would quickly have a reputation. Especially since I've yet to witness a single day approach on my campus .

How would you guys navigate around this this ?

I've been going around the problem by approaching well away from the campus but I'm missing out on easy uni lays that have their own crib .

As I'm logistically challenged right now , finding a DTF college chick with her own studio would be a god send .

Also , I'm going to act colder towards X . I wanted to be cool with her despite her rejection but apparently she's decided to play the stuck up bitch .

Y is much cooler when X isn't around but it's obvious she loves the attention and isn't going to put out . She's off the list too .

Transfer to a larger uni.

I'm half joking...

There was this one time I was "that guy" on campus, when I moved in for the kiss and the girl rejected me... and the backstabbing bitch blabbed to everyone on campus about it. Ruined my chances with other girls for the rest of the year. Granted, two things - my game was weak at the time, and I didn't transfer to another school but I was able to recover the following year when we got a fresh crop of students and everyone else had forgotten about the whole non-kiss thing.

Theyre mad because you shifted your attention to better prospect. Just own it and maintain frame, who knows maybe they will come around.

I think Roosh has talked about how you should start off practicing game on girls who you will never see again, not necessarily to avoid becoming "that guy", but rather to avoid the possibility of you thinking you might become "that guy". As soon as you are walking around thinking you are that guy, your self-confidence is shot and whatever game you do spit will be off.

Game definitely works on small college campuses, but anonymous cold approaching might not be the best strategy. Social circle game might be a better option.

Don't be that guy. And don't run cold approach game on people IN YOUR CLASS. Don't be high energy C&F, that's only for clubs. Just be casual about it bruh. Game is different in environments where you see girls everyday. Don't make things too obvious and formal. Just talk to them after class every once in a while, wait until there's an opportunity(studying together, friendly outing at the pub with a mixed group, get drunk have fun, then move in for the kill away from everyone by splitting off).

And don't do practice approaches on girls you know. Just run ninja game. It's subtle and not obvious. Run social circle game.

At college you just need to be social in general

This isn't NYC where if you don't get a girls' number you won't ever see her again. Get to know everyone, you will bump into them all the time, that is the best game.

And don't use the "little sister" line, or any of those cheesy lines you read in books. Just ask for a girls number if you want it, tell her you'll grab a drink or invite her to a party, be normal dude.

There are plenty of guys on college campuses who fuck tons of girls. It sounds like people are reacting to you for being corny, not for being too much of a player.

You want to be "that guy" who fucks a lot of chicks. You don't want to be "that guy" who is corny as hell and uses Mystery Method lines on every girl you see.

Real talk - your own thoughts that you ARE "that guy" are far more of a hindrance than other peoples' thoughts that you are "that guy"

I banged more friends of girls I banged than anything else in college.

Just be chill.

If you're being direct in daylight, it's because you're really interested in a girl. And if she sees you doing this with every girl, then you're 'that guy' because you're wayyyy toooo interested in too many girls.

If you're just looking for bangs, relax, and make a fun atmosphere. You want her to be just familiar enough with you that she's easy to open at night.

Girls will be sluts, but they don't want to look like sluts. You doing aggressive daylight game makes them look like a slut in front of everyone, game aware or no.

Versus tagging girls during night time, when the music is pumping, lights are dark, and her sluttery isn't on display.

I got a no talk bang from this once. Just went downstairs, chick was sitting there, dude who was hitting on her was getting her water. We did some fucked up hand clap game for about five minutes, dude came back then walked away with his head down. So I took her to the bathroom, made out, then back to my room. No words, but I'd banged her friend, did a good job and kept it quiet when I did.

1) You needed to go to a larger college.

2) You needed to save whatever $ before college and in summers, take out student loans to live on or next to campus.

3) Don't worry about being that guy, every year new chicks come in that have no idea who you are.

Be sure to remember these lessons when you move on from college to move to a large enough city and live in the center.

How small is the campus?

I would suggest making female friends to help raise your SMV and give you a good launch pad for other girls.

I know making friends with girls isn't supported much on this forum but when it went to a university of 10,000 students it was beyond invaluable. I had girls dd me, shield me from false rape accusations, give me a place to crash when I failed to go home with girls, set me up with friends, even let me bang other girls on their couch.

Honestly too, when you leave college all the girls you bang leave your life and the friends stick around.

"Day game" girls you'll never see again. Friendly talk and socializing with girls you'll see on campus again. The two girls you are seeing are just jealous. Shrug them off and don't speak to them. They'll approach you on their own. From what I see they are shaming you back into their circle of orbiters.

Also dude avoid opening about things that involve others. Always express interest due to your own experiences with whatever you are indirect opening about. I always bring something about art or travel that I've experienced.
