Ok, so I've checked the forums for advice on texting game, but I would like to give some background before I shoot off a text.

Quick background on me:
I'm about 6 foot, average size (though I'm going to the gym regularly and improving).
I was not able to chase girls for the past year due to health issues, and I wasn't very good at game before. I've read a lot in the past year but haven't had a chance to put much of it into practice.

Last night I was at a club with a favorable female/male ratio. Met a girl I would peg as about a 6, with a friend. She didn't know how to dance but was very open and receptive to a long conversation. We talked about her hometown, school, funny tv shows and a few other things. I managed to get some very light kino in.

About her:
She is in a sorority (so has likely had about five trillion dicks in her), but wasn't quite at the 7-9 level of most sorority girls so I think she was just accepted for a GPA boost. Said she was studying accounting and math [I resisted the urge to geek out when she mentioned that].

So here's what I would like to know - should I bother trying to go after her? I will be competing with roided up frat boys and I work full time (though I live close to her school).

What texts should I throw her way. I'm thinking maybe "hey its Rex from last night can u do my taxes"

Don't try to be too funny over texting. Giving girls you haven't banged feels over texts is a nice way to get a new texting buddy in my opinion. Texting is just a tool that you want to use to set up plans with the girl. The most effective text is one that gets her off the phone and in person with you. You should try to set up plans with her.

I go pretty basic: Hey this is rex from last night. Let's grab drinks on (whatever day you like, preferably between mon-thurs).

No need to worry about any competition (which usually isn't nearly as good as you think it may be as a beginner) when you had a positive interaction with a girl.

Don't over think the text. There's probably something more snappy than the tax line, but in a favorable situation you described, you just need to open the lines of communication. A few hahas, and go in for the meet up. If she's keen to meet, she'll jump at it. If she's not, no opening text would have changed the final outcome.

Also try to talk with her on the phone to make the plans to meet up.
I used to be against it but i've noticed a definite improvement in my converting numbers to bangs.

Just have a casual conversation with her keep it light and fun, nothing too serious.

As the others say, keep it minimal and logistical. IME, the more I text, the more rope I give myself to hang myself with.

You can also show personality with your words.

If the close is very strong, logistics are in order.
If the close was so so, you can build heat/interest.

At some point every player needs to learn text game.
