It's also the reason I think why you rarely see young (teenage, early 20s) troublemakers pick fights with older, even out of shape men...we unconsciously recognise sheer strength and the capacity it has to hurt us

With the full understanding that this question may make me out to seem like an idiot. After reading the stuff about old man strength and considering for a second other sources of unexplained power.

Where does retard strength come from?

Do they actually have "retard strength", or is it more "retard rage" that makes them go full ham on someone in a way us normal individuals can't possibly replicate?

If this dude started wigging out and ran at me all red faced and screaming, I'd want no part of that. I'd run the other way fast as hell.

This is terrifying... And how about Dwarf Strength? Full size body with short limbs i.e. improved leverage.

I say strength over rage because they can use it anytime they please. Calm as fuck movin heavy shit like pie because it never occured to them it was heavy or wasn't normal to do so.

I remember one retarded wrestler, dumb as a rock but friendly as hell. During matches if he got in a bad spot coach would tell him to sit up/stand up and mofo would do so as if he was gettin outa bed.

And then we have cases of adrenaline fueled feats of strengh that leave people unable to move for days afterward. Like the mother weilding a log as if it were a stick to defend a kid she thought was her own child.

I can remember once myself during garage training, it was getting prerty intense and either due to endorphins or adrenaline I casually threw my buddy halfway across the garage. Not sure how, but I've never stopped wondering.

Oh and if I saw the superman kid i'd run too, don't wanna mess with that shit.

I believe there's a decent amount of untapped strength which is held back by the brain and nervous system in reserve. It's why you hear stories of people lifting up cars when someone is pinned, etc. If adrenaline flows and everything clicks you can lift a lot more than on a day when you're tired and feeling off or the stakes aren't that high.

A lot of weight training is mind training- picking up things your brain is telling you not to.

I think it is one of the hardest "competitions": to go to battle with self doubt.

You want to train intelligently though, obviously, not snorting smelling salts during every set.

If only you knew how bad things really are.
