Disclaimer: This is a lighthearted post about some barber shop. Not decidedly "red pill" nor overly manly or anti-feminist.







This Dutch barber shop only allows men and offers only a couple of haircuts. (In the video it says 14 but I think nowadays it's 8)

You can't make an appointment. You can't bring your girlfriend. You come in, you wait and then you point at a poster for which haircut you want. It's 33EUR. Done.

Apparently one dude once flew in from Chicago to get his hair cut, walk around the city a bit and then fly back home. They are really popular.


They take their policy very seriously, too:



I'm allowed in. Me too. I'm not.



Women can't even buy products for their boyfriends. They are turned away at the door. Gotta love the Dutch.

I guess guys like Roosh or Victor Pride aren't likely to be seen there, due to the hipster-vibe, but I still find the place inspirational.

If I had any hair worth talking about I'd go there some time.

I didn't see one haircut which required any man to spend less than half an hour loving his mirror image before going out. My pet cat doesn't look that pampered.

I would hazard a guess those styles take as long as a womans hairstyle to do.

They have the same thing in Finland, but they have 10 cuts. There's one in every big city, and it may have been one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten.

Black barbers have similar rules. Women can come in but these guys talk shit all day. It's a decidedly masculine Space. I cut my own hair but once a month I let those guys do it because they're so fucking funny. Wanna learn to ramble? go to a black inner city barber and he'll give you a master class on shooting the shit and rambling

That style is a type of cut known as a pompadour. It's been around in one form or another for over 100 years.

Why hate on this? This is fucking awesome. Some really nice haircuts for men there. Personally, however, none of the styles work for me, but nonetheless this is something any man should support.

Men's only parlours will probably make a comeback in a big way during our lifetimes, and not just barber shops. Rather than hating on men because they have tatoo's or look "hipster," why not love and accept your fellow man in their endeavours?

I posted about this in another thread but I found a barber that likes 1950's haircuts and his suggestions have worked well on me. Not the pompadour, but there are some others, the "contour", "college contour", and "boogie". I never paid much attention to this stuff before but these cuts are all very popular/mainstream now.

You could also just call it the "white guy fade".

These guys may spend a lot of time fucking with their hair, but I'm glad this shit is making a comeback. Let's be honest, places like the Haircuttery are pretty emasculating. And if a razor faded pomp with a hard part isn't peacocking, I don't know what is.

Trust me, there are lots of SJW's in Holland. There just not focused on feminism or equalism but all the more on political correctness and multiculturism/ Europaism. There's lots of anti-israelism too due to the large portion of Muslims in Dutch society.

There are feminists but the Dutch don't take them very serious.

Barbershop looks cool. If only I had lots of rockabilly hair

I'd kill for a really full head of hair like Elvis, Reagan or Stalin. Last time my hair was like that I was probably 16.

Because its all posing and pestering. This is nothing new. Black, Jewish, and Latin dudes have kept the barber shop thing going. You touch down in ant city and find a Black, Latin, or Jewish heavy neighborhood and a barber will be present.

So I don't buy this "comeback" stuff. A black barbershop is to masculine and real for hipster fags to go get a hair cut in, a Jewish one likely has older staff, old ass Jew guys but they will give you the best shave of your life, a Latin one ways has women around but they are old school and feminine plus the Latin barbers will take so much detail and pride Into making sure you get the cut that you want. All these things are around. But since hipsters ain't down with real and raw stuff they go run off and recreate there Disney version of what a old school barber shop was like. The old school shops were mirrors of all the traits of the ethnic ones.

Pretty sure white guys had barber shops thousands of years ago. I'm pretty sure every society known to man has had a place where men get their hair cut.

This place offers superior haircuts with a no woman policy - and the no woman policy is new. I haven't seen other race's barber shops with a no woman policy. The no woman thing may be a bit of a gimmick - after all, women aren't likely to be going to these places - but it's simply untrue to say this is just a copycat of other barber shops when barber shops have been around for thousands of years.

I usually prefer all-male barber shops. I want my hair to be cut by men - mostly it is a superior experience. I might go to the shop too if they had a cut I could live with.

That one is a good look. Definite rockabilly/psychobilly styling throughout. Most bands still performing the genres tour exclusively in northern Europe, looks like they've got the haircuts to match the music. A bit hipstery but I think you'd see more pompadours at a Mad Sin show than you would at Brooklyn Trader Joe's.

Some poeple just enjoy tearing others down. "Oh, you're not a 230lb beast? What are you, a stupid hipster?"

Some people just like that so why do you feel the need to judge them. Also the bikers mentioned in the video are 100x more manly than any poster on an online forum.

I used to go to a good one in Utrecht run by some old guy who didn't speak a lot of English, but he was good and it was a simple basic barbershop, no frills. Now it seems a lot of other hipster-ish places are popping up. Whatever works; if they can cut hair I don't really care.

When I was still in the military, the best haircuts I ever got, hands down, were from old white guys. If you want to grow it longer, sometimes the broads are better at cutting it. But forget about picking them based on hotness - too often the hottest ones aren't so hot at cutting hair.

I live in a part of the city that is about as white bread as they come. Cracker ass crackers as far the eye can see. I can think of 3 barber shops in the area that I am aware of just off the top of my head. None of which are these hipster-y type places, they are all just regular no-frills barbers.

One suburb over is a, as you say, 'Jewish heavy neighbourhood' and I haven't seen a single barber shop there. Although to be fair, I don't go there looking for a barber, just top notch food (of which there is plenty), so in all likelihood, there is at least one around, I just haven't seen it.
