I had a favorite pair of klipsch s4 earbuds with the same issue. I emailed the manufacturer and since it was under 2 years they sent me a replacement with the receipt. I had bought them on sale at compusa.com. Messed up part was the new ones lasted me about 1 year and I smashed the controller between 2 weights while racking up the weights. I didn't try to get those replaced just asked my girlfriend at the time to buy me a new pair
