After leaving my wife of 10 years a month or so ago, and not fucking anyone else but her for last 12 years, I had some girl (35, same as me) from Happn message me out the blue today with strong come on signals.

I thought OK this is it, invite her over. Probably a bad idea really as I am grouchy from only 3 hrs sleep last night, am thinking of getting back with the wife but hey, lets just do it any way.

Picked her up from the train station and knew immediately this was not going to be easy for me to follow through. She was 6ft in her heels, chunky bordering on fat, brash, cocky, airhead, super slut.

Took her to the pub below my flat, got a couple cocktails (after she tried to order the drinks over me) then moans about the wait for it to be made, talks about longest relationship being 2 years long, about 6 years ago, but says these hookup sites are cool because a girls gotta eat right? brags about guys texting her telling her she scared them sexually, touching my arm every 10 seconds, leaning in on me and then final straw is when says get yourself another drink then.

I had enough and say look, im gonna call you a cab. She says, what because i'm not going to go upstairs and fuck you? I say no, I know you will, thats not the problem. She says OMGaaawwwd, brutaaaal, you weirdooooo, and says she'll wait outside.

What a disaster!

Part of me feels like a pussy for not just fucking her anyway as a dead cert but she was so fucking irritating I just would not have got it up for her.
I realise i'm not going to have that killer instinct back just yet no matter what the girl was like but fuck she could not have been a worse type for me right now.

30 mins later and i'm laughing to myself about it and put it down to experience for next time.

That was a good call. Only in recent years have I experienced bad lays. Why did I start to have them only recently? I made the mistake of allowing myself to venture beyond my picky taste in the last few years.

It sounds like you may have saved yourself from some venereal disease as well.

If you think this minor annoying incident was a "disaster" you're going to have to develop a thicker skin. The dating world is brutal these days- it's Thunderdome out there.

Every experienced player has had awful , sometimes bizarre or dangerous things happen to them in the pursuit of pussy. Just read the forum; accounts are legion.

You made the right call. Ditching girls you find unacceptable for whatever reason is part of the game; we've all done it many times. Trust your gut instinct in these matters; if the situation doesn't feel right don't hesitate to bail out, there are plenty more girls.

Just get back on the horse and keep going and you'll be banging in no time.

Here's your problem in a nutshell. I know you just got off the marriage horse but keep this in mind...at 35 you are now at your maximum market value. You should start hitting on the 25-29 chicks and work your way down (in age) Even 18-22 year olds are within your grasp NOW with a bit of game tightening.

I'm 45 (next month...yikes) and am routinely spiking 27-32 yos with occasional 22-24yos.

By standing by your beliefs, morals, and integrity, you have done well to knock this girl down a peg or two. By the way you describe her, she doesn't sound like the attractive type of girl who could get away with the sort of behaviour. Perhaps she's trying too hard or even reverting back to the attitude and behaviour she had when she was younger (hotter).

In this type of situation, many guys will set integrity aside for the bang. Though we may be desperately in need of some pussy (even low quality for a slump buster), its important that we have restraint because giving in and getting your nut actually REINFORCES her bahaviour. I usually try to lead away and see if i can't get her attitude to change, subtly, when I encounter this behaviour.

I'm sorry you went home empty handed, yet I commend you for taking a stand and show in restraint.

When you do this, you sacrifice some pussy sonetimes, but you always leave an impression that sets the bar and says "I am not another thirsty guy with no standards." This some times leads to a late night reconsideration in somebwomen. Causing them to attempt a reconnect some days/weeks/or even months later. Usually, when she's hit a dry streak, has been unsatisfied, or has given in to poor game for some play and attention. If this happens there is often times a drastic attitude change. With that being said, should this happen again, keep your game strong and tight, use more pull less push and try to draw an attitude adjustment out of her. Should that fail, end the interaction with the assumption that you would like to do thisbagain, given that she have an attitude adjustment ( or as I like to tell her, "when yourbin a more receptive/pleasant/joyful mood.")

If you can stand it and have no intention of talking(fucking) to this girl again... By all means, shut her up and smash, get her out the door after assuring her that it was amazing and weshould do it again. Leave her wondering, 'how can he have "such a wonderfully fun time" with me, and be so short and closed off when I try to doit again?'

She wasn't ugly but definitely bigger than her profile pics, at least size 14. She worked as a TV exec. and I get the feeling she was used to acting this way, taking control, and as you say thirsty guys would just go along because she was so brazenly obvious about wanting to fuck, it put me off tbh. I'm still fucking my 37 year old much fitter ex so no real thirst on my part. She had such a loud, in your face persona and I kept my natural aloofness, tried to control the frame by not reacting / pregnant pauses/ unimpressed eye contact to the worst of her comments, but this just seemed to make her worse when I think on it.

Eventually the convo deteriorated and became antagonistic with her saying I was rude and stuff like "let me give you some advice as you're new to this".
She def did not like or expect it when I then pulled the plug, saying "what, because I'm not going to go upstairs and fuck you? I said no, I know you will, that's not the problem, she goes "it's ok, we can go upstairs!!", I say "no, not tonight, I'll call you a cab" then she starts with the "OMG, Brutal, you weirdo" jibes.

I checked my phone records, it took 52 mins from picking her up at the station to calling the cab from the bar.
