G Manifesto based on a character?
After reading through his blog, posts and tweets, the whole G Manifesto persona seems to be based on some TV/movie or character. Of course, Michael Porfirio Mason could be a real person who lives the life he proclaims, but I can't help but sometimes feel that some of the details he has shared about his life & lifestyle are based on that of a character. All the custom suits, smoking cigarettes, boxing, surfing, going to the racetrack, being a gentlemanly casanova, taste in music, the shady past, drugs, childhood, hustling and pushing ecstasy, going to topless beaches, and the 90s slang together have some kind of cinematic effect that makes you think he is based on (a) certain character(s). For example, his Irish father and Spanish mother kind of remind me of Henry Hill from Goodfellas, and of course so does everything else about his life. Maybe even a Corleone or Patrick Bateman from American Psycho. Any characters, or even people beyond the realm of fiction that you guys think Michael Mason may be based on (supposing that he is not real)? Tell me what you guys think.

Are we really beating this dead horse? There's an infinite amount of threads of people claiming G is fake. This is an age old conversation use the search feature.

I miss G.

RE: G Manifesto based on a character?
What's the difference if he is based on a character or not? His posts have some serious value. If you don't see the value and benefit from what he writes, then it is probably better for you to believe that he is fake.

I don't really care whether he is real or fake. I'm just asking if he and his story remind you of any character or person in particular.

Basically what characters you think he is closest to, like the examples I mentioned. If I could retitle this thread, "which TV/movie character would G Manifesto be?"

"All the custom suits, smoking cigarettes, boxing, surfing, going to the racetrack, being a gentlemanly casanova, taste in music, the shady past, drugs, childhood, hustling and pushing ecstasy, going to topless beaches, and the 90s slang."

Custom suits: Lots of people on here wear them, I had two custom made in Bogota two years ago, they're great.

Smoking cigarettes: I"m smoking a dart right now, lots of us do but its not something I recommend.

Boxing: Lots of boxers on here, I have a set of gloves in my closet I bought while training Muay Thai in Thailand, I should start training again.

Surfing: Lots of surfers on here from all over the world, I've tried it a few times in Canada on both coast but am terrible, its still lots of fun.

Racetrack: Lots of gamblers on here, I don't partake much myself, Gs Del Mar race track data sheet has been vouched for several times by repped members.

Gentlemanly casanova: This is a game forum

Taste in music: G, along with Tuthmosis probably has the best taste in music on here in my opinion, he would always post Youtube videos of old school 90s hip hop and rap I haven't heard in years such as Big Daddy's Kane's Ain't No Half Steppin, great track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2l2O-JOXG_I

Shady past: Yup, lots of us have them.

Childhood hustling: A kids gotta eat bro

Pushing ecstacy: Anyone who refers to selling drugs as "pushing" has likely never been around them.

Topless beaches: Are you serious? I guess you've never been to a Mediterranean beach eh, fuck we even have them in Canada.

90s slang: He's in his late 30s, he grew up in a decade that was a hell of a lot cooler than this on and the previous one. I was only a youngster then (born in 82') but I have great memories of the music, films and culture back then.

I guess you just don't get out much and probably lived a sheltered life, Gs stories weren't that unbelievable, I have friends who did way crazier shit and G probably did too but toned it down for the forum, as a lot of us on here do.

God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

Who gives a shit? I checked his latest posts and he hasn't been here since late 2013.

I think it's time to move on. G-Manifesto dickriding is getting old.

I don't mean to hijack this thread (the entire thread is basically a hijack in and of itself), but could you possibly post some information on topless beaches in Canada? O.P. isn't jealous. He's envious.

Wreck Beach... is an internationally-acclaimed 7.8 km long Nudist beach, located in Vancouver, BC, Canada, making it North America's largest naturist beach. : http://www.wreckbeach.org/ You can also openly smoke pot on the beach with no worries and people walk around selling mushrooms, edibles and reefers, I guess there's better things for the cops to worry about than a bunch of naked stoners on the beach.

RE: G Manifesto based on a character?
haha I'm not jealous or in disbelief of G's lifestyle, I just want to know whom he reminds you guys of. For example his elaborate nightlife preparation and his in-depth knowledge of fine dining and the greatest restaurants remind me of American Psycho's Patrick Bateman. His lifestyle isn't that unbelievable for me, and I incorporate his valuable knowledge of things into my life as much as possible. No envy, just mad respect.

This is the kind of answer I was looking for. Now, I think G would actually be more similar to Manny rather than Tony.

That's what he says himself. He posts about the places where he goes, so if you want to meet him, just go there. Last year, I was in Sur in Playa del Carmen and I saw some guy who I was thinking was him, but this guy was wearing jeans, so I seriously doubt it. The guy was with a model (not Mexican. I've never seen a Mexican model in three trips to Playa) and was kind of smirking at me like he know me. Crazy night all around, which ended with me getting a Nuevo Leon flag.

I think the last day on which G posted in 2013, after saying that El Mech was swooping guys at the Applebees in Tampa, should be made into a holiday.

I can confirm that G Manifesto is not Rob Wiser, still an entertaining theory those whack jobs at that incel hater website cooked up though, claiming the Swoop The World guys were his step brothers or something haha, weirdos.

I'm pretty sure Beyond Borders was thrown in there too, I still think G may have been one of Dash Global's many troll accounts on here, their bickering on here was legendary, likely a cover up.

I think Global Entry was also thrown in there as well. It gets pretty funny when you've met some of those guys and can confirm that they are not all the same person. I wonder what percentage of the overall accounts on here were really Dash? The Internationalist, Skyfall, Dlmelvin86, Medellin Paisa, etc.

Apparently he was posting data mined from this site all over the sex tourist site ISG in the Colombia section a couple of years ago, I think Ali called him out for it over on NN, they were even calling him out on ISG, it was hilarious. I've ran into his posts on the Lonely Planet forum and some ESL ones as well, wasn't he trying to sell a broken cell phone in Korea or something like that, or couldn't handle the kids? Hard to keep up with the guy but as I've mentioned on here before we've partied before and he is cool in person.
