I am in Luanda right now and i definetely can say that is more expensive than London..everything here is really expensive.

It is true. Luanda is expensive because 1) it's growing at a massive clip and experiencing extremely high inflation and 2) there's oil and oil money there, thus prices can rise to ridiculous levels because the expats there paying with their corporate credit cards aren't picky.

I saw an ad on CNN International once promoting Luanda as a tourist destination, and had no idea that place was blowing up. Angola...what else is up down there? I never would have guessed...
