She protected him in that instance in court but she fucked around on him for ages. She even was physical with him as per the Vanity Fair article. Sounds like she has a borderline personality disorder to me but again, from afar, I admire that sort of ruthless ambition. I can't imagine her pulling these sorts of stunts with Putin.

It sounds like she is a workoholic, and what Malcolm Gladwell calls a "connector".

Powerful people of all ages and backgrounds enjoy having her put people together, in a room or an event. She seems comfortable in most scenarios, as long as its high class.

She might have grown up poor, but her parents were not stupid. They obviously passed on their intelligence and hard work to her, and she took it into the 21 century and played some of the biggest powerbrokers on the planet.

I would think Ivanka was raised better than to think, "I will distance myself from my more controversial friends for the sake of what some social media junkies might say".

Loyalty is something sorely lacking today, and having the strength of character to be seen with Deng is testament to her upbringing.

Plus, they look good together. I would definitely have 'elderly opened' them while wandering the ramparts of old Dubrovnik.
