Filipinas are I think less and less influenced by Spanish culture. They are certainly influenced by the catholic church, and use many (transformed, of Spanish origin) Spanish words, but they know little to nothing about the current culture of Spain, I'd say.

I'd think that one would have to get more country specific for "Latinas" to do that. Latinas with an Afro mix are going to have widely differing traits from other less mixed Ameri-Indian girls who, aside from significant euro-mixes, are essentially the same race as less-mixed phillipinas; only having a slightly differing facial phenotypic expression.

True. I've banged a full-blooded Mexican-Indian in her dorm room at SF State and I thought she was Pinay, totally asian features. Turns out she was from southern Mexico and her grandparents don't even speak Spanish. She made some great huevos and tamales the next day.

Why are you pitting one nation's women versus a demonym of women from dozens of nations?

Why not just create pages for different nationalities of women: Brasileiras, Colombianas, Dominicanas, Latinas de Los Estados. etc?

Latin America covers a humongous area, from Tierra del Fuego up to Tijuana (some may say East Los Angeles...), but its native population is closely related. Due to the pre-Columbian migration and settlement patterns in South and Meso-America, there is a level of racial homogeneity that you just don't find in other continents (Oz excepted).

So while there is some variety in the Mestizo mix due to the more recent immigration patterns across the continent, the base genetic stock is relatively similar. One could also argue that the patterns of more recent immigrant is also similar: you have roughly a large influx from West Africa, a smaller, mostly Iberian Caucasian influx (with more Italians in the Cono Sur, and some Northern European/German presence in Brazil), some East Asian presence in places like Peru, but overall, there are more similarities than differences relative to other continents.

There was a trade route from Manila to Acapulco for many years (The Manila Galleons) and there were probably some love connections and cultural influences over those years.

I noticed when I was in Acapulco, there were quite a few people who looked Filipino.

More homogenous for nations in certain regions (Caribbean, Southern Cone, Etc.), but overall you are definitely overstating how homogenous Latin America is.

Anyways, ethnicity and looks were not really my only gripe. The page discusses highly specific personality and cultural aspects that are undoubtedly different across Latin American nations.

Such broad generalizations on topics such as "Affinity for Gringos", "Sexual Ability" and "Willingness to be with Older Men" would be misleading and possibly untrue information in the context of certain Latin nations.

Statements like this is why we then get so many whiners in the Philippines thread saying "it's not like you promised at all! It's not as easy as you said! RVF misled me!"

There are so many cases in which the scenario you described doesn't work at all that it renders it just too inaccurate. How about you change that to "relatively easier to bang" which is by far more accurate, especially for an official wiki page.
