On a couple of occasions I've had girls try to send a flake text last minute (just of the type "oh hey turns out I probably can't make it right now" or "hey, didn't you get my text this morning? Can't make it" with no alternate idea given), and then when I don't respond immediately proceed to try to call me.

I haven't been sure how to play this. So far, the couple times it's happened I just let their call go to voicemail and then run my usual "flake script" (return text them some indifferent reply many hours after...since both times it was about 20 minutes before I was supposed to arrive and was frankly feeling miffed.)

My thought was that they might just be a more sensitive or inexperienced type, and are looking for immediate validation that what they did was "okay" if I'm cool with it over the phone, or to say to themselves "ah he was an asshole anyway" if I'm not.

But maybe there's an opportunity here that I'm missing.

I've hardly had girls call me and flake.

The handful that did, I answered most.

I subtly call them out on why, tease them about their excuse, if they're someone worth rescheduling I'll probe and find out their schedule.

A girl who actually calls you instead of texts gets more respect in my book (albeit hardly any respect at all).

She'll tend to be more open and honest as well.

All bitches are different so take it with a grain of salt, just reschedule when it works for you.

Don't forget to tell her she's buying the first round, since she flaked.

The reason why I'm somewhat skeptical is that, early in my online game experience, I tried doing the "phone screen" thing to try to build comfort or figure out her intentions and so on.

It basically never worked, girls whom I had phone conversations with would block, ghost, and flake on me before the meet just as much as any other girl, if not more so. Even if the conversation lasted a long time and went well by any objective standard.

I've never banged a girl from online I talked with on the fucking phone beforehand.

Honestly, I would suggest you take a break from online game for a year, or at least 6 months. I quit using it, and the quality of ass I can pull overall is quite a bit higher in real life. But in a big city, or even a moderately sized city, most women will be getting flooded with messages if they are good or great looking, it just doens't make sense to put your time into trying online game when you can game and your local supermarket.

Edit, to answer your question, if a woman flakes by phone, it is probably more likely that she actually wants to reschedule, because when you have her on the phone, you can just move it to another night easy enough. But if she is texting, she may just be fishing for attention and has no desire to meet up at all.
