Roosh's latest blog post got me thinking
The post about the guy who has been running around banging girls and getting drunk at 4pm.

I think most of us guys want that the type of lifestyle for at least some amount of time. Most of also want to eventually meet an amazing girl and settle down with her. I think in the back of our minds, we want to feel like we've had the chance to sow our wild oats.

So how many girls would you have to bang to feel like you've sowed your wild oats, and that you can now settle down with one woman and not feel like you've been robbed of the great life experience of delving into a variety of women?

For people who haven't read it...

I think the decision is made unconsciously. You just find yourself devoting less time into girls because you don't find them to be as important OR you realize that the time you spent in bars and clubs is not fruitful, freeing up your time for hobbies where you will meet a quality girl who isn't just good at easy sex.

But even if we were to drop out of the game, that doesn't mean we leave our skills, our moves, and our charm behind. It stays with us, waiting to be brought alive for the girl we like. Perhaps you are never truly able to quit the game.

In the end I have to look at the facts. Hundreds of times in the bars and clubs, and how many QUALITY girls have i met? Less than 10. It's not paying off, so i must continue my work which will free me to visit other cities and countries that may have a better payoff. Washington dc is probably not the best place for me.

I didn't like that blog.

A man isn't defined by the fact he has (or doesn't have) a wife and kids at home. That would be a woman's gauge, if anything. Pre-Selection on steroids (or maybe estrogen)

The old man at the club is far more brave than his lonely brethren at home by themselves drinking beer and watching sportcenter.

To me, it's not about sowing wild oats, or finding "the one". (to answer the question, 100)

Who are you?
Who do I let define me?
Others? Or myself?

- broken.

I feel that number is one each guy has to figure out on his own. Some might need a large number in the hundreds, while another may only need a half dozen to find out whether the path he's on is the right one, or understand which path he needs to take next. As Roosh pointed out most guys will unconsciously know when they've hit that number and have experienced the answer for themselves.

I think it shows a nice level of personal development on your part to bring up these questions. It typically takes awhile for most people to honestly ask themselves these questions, and even more time to properly answer each one. Concerning the last three I've noticed too many people allowing themselves to be defined by other people and not choosing to be what they're developing themselves into out of their own conscious choice.

This brings me back to Roosh's "Exit Strategy Post". If this guy is still hanging out in the bar at 4am in control of the crowd around because that's what he wants and it's what he enjoys, more power to him. However if he's there because he thinks his identity is there due to the friends around him, then in some ways he's no better off than his cohorts at home drinking beer watching television.

yeah, i have to agree with this. the odds of finding a quality girl in a bar are low, especially in DC (which is really turning out to be a wasteland for quality women). i may have to find a line of work that lets me travel and stay overseas for extended periods of time.

It all goes back to how horny you are. I admit I've been one of those guys that fucked the fat chick because I was that hard up. So at that time she was of impecable quality because she was the easiest resource to satisfy my bodily needs. Hence, it's a point of view which does tend to change sporadically. Wink

I've done fat, and I've done skinny, but a skinny one was the worst experience in terms of the lack of inherent quality in the woman and the bang, but as the saying goes, sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before you can move up. Wink
