Summer 2016 Beach Destination Master Thread
I'm planning on hitting a party spot (or two) this summer, most likely in Europe. I'm interested in what other people are planning here these next few months.

There have been a lot of threads on the usual spots to go

Greece:

/thread-10401.html

/thread-21407.html

/thread-15060...ht=mykonos

Black Sea

/post-437650.html

Croatia

http://www.returnofkings.com/531/9-reaso...land-sucks

Etc.

I'm curious how the immigrant crisis has affected any of the Greek Islands, and also people's experiences in various European summer destinations recently.

Some have said that Kos in Greece is a good spot for Scandinavian girls, then again that area has been and is currently being hit by immigrant waves. Not sure if that matters.

I've also heard some good things about Lagos, Portugal, though I don't think there is a thread on that here.

I'm also open to meeting up with forum members, as going solo is usually a bad idea in a beach spot. A few wingmen and an extroverted vibe can make all the difference from not getting laid to having a great time and living it up.

Let's discuss/brainstorm the best and worst options for this summer.

I haven't been to Lagos, but every Aussie in Europe has mentioned being there. It shounds nice, but I don't want to be another bloke from Down Under there.

I also barely missed Budva last year. Summer had been and gone last month by the time I got to Montenegro anyway:

I really enjoyed the beach at Nice. If you can, head out to the surrounding towns. Ezé-sur-Mer is particularly breathtaking.

There should be a beachside game datasheet here somewhere??

I like Lagos, but that is only because it is less from a 3 hour drive from my home. It has wonderful beaches in and around, but do not expect hot water temperatures, you can eat decently without beeing scammed, unlike in Andaluzia beach areas. But the nightlife is far from good. The bars are packed with annoying brit and aussie kids, and the only club in town with boring portuguese, some gems here and there from Northern or Eastern europe, but not many options for going out
I recommend Costa del Sol in nearby Spain, Fuengirola, Benalmadema, Torremolinos, Malaga, that is where you will find warm water temperatures, the hot spanish chicas and the crazy drunk scandinavian girls. Cadiz can be also a good option, but with less options as Malaga/Costa del Sol.

Go where others don't. You'll had the most fun in places that are off the beaten path.

Find an area where the Western trump card still works, like Aktau, Kazakhstan.

Cool place for summer, I can testify.

Bit difficult is what makes the appeal of the place if you're a real and adventurous player (and anyway Central Asia is IMO easier than Ukraine, where any foreigner is targeted as a sex-tourist) ...well, off the beaten path destinations are good for some of us ....other ones might prefer moldovian or ukrainian provincial skanks at Odessa public beaches or crazy drunk scandinavian chicks in Spain or Bulgaria. Personally I don't .......... bit of difficulty, unexpected and adventure is what really turns my crank. That's the very core of "The Game" in my opinion, but as usual, to each its own.

If you give us a (rap-free, please) datasheet on Aktau, you'll earn many thanks from adventurous forum members, and I guess some well-deserved rep points... I'd be the first to rep you...

And, talking about beaches, what are your thoughts on Crimea as a travel destination this year, out of curiosity? Adventure, potential... hard to beat...?

Expensive with many hipsters, vegans, gays, feminists. The beaches are nice and the food is good.

The tourists in Sopot have definitely come back since June started.

Expect more young girls to show up in July after college ends.

who has been to Cancun? I've read the few threads on it here and swoop has an article on it. Some say it's great, others say it's terrible. Looks like a big vegas on the beach with high entry fees (50 dollars, though it includes open bar), all inclusive resorts....looks like a big cash trap. Wondering how it compares to the mediterranean.

Cancun is definitely not where you want to be in the summer. Super hot and super rainy compared to the spring, which is why everyone goes there on spring break. Cancun's beaches are pretty nice when there's not a lot of seaweed, but once I found Playa Del Carmen, I was mad I had spent so much time in Cancun. Playa is way better than Cancun. Either way, there are much better summer beach destinations than that Cancun/Playa/Tulum/Cozumel area right now.

RE: Summer 2016 Beach Destination Master Thread
I was in Ibiza last week. I don't have much of a datasheet, but I have some thoughts that might be useful.

First off, I was mostly fucked up the entire time so didn't game very much at all. I'm very serious about electronic music so that was the main reason I went. The only nightclub I went to that was feasible for game was Ushuaïa. I went on Saturday for the "ANTS" party. That show was fucking excellent and I'd recommend going. If you want to talk to girls then show up when it opens. It's very chill and people are hanging out by the bar/pool. After dark forget about it though.. it gets too loud and people will be on drugs.

I stayed on Playa D'en Bossa Beach. There are plenty of hot girls walking along the beach but all in groups. I was basically alone and desperately needed a wing. Surprisingly local Spanish girls are hot.. possibly some of the hottest girls I've ever seen. WHenever I'd try talking to them they were friendly but didn't speak English. The best place to find local girls walking by themselves is in Ibiza Town. If I go back to Ibiza, (I'd like to go every summer if I'm able to), I would learn Spanish and make friends with locals. Promoters are all over the place on Bossa Beach, so just talk to them and ask where the party is. They're very friendly and always have hot girls around them. ANTS at Ushuaia seemed to have lots of local club promoters there partying, so I'd go back there and mingle with them.

Bora Bora club can be good in the day time for meeting girls but it's very hit or miss. Sometimes I'd see hot girls, but most of the time girls were old and fat. Also it turns into a gay club at night so avoid Bora Bora after around it gets dark unless you're into dicks. It's worth checking out before sunset though.

In summary- next time I go back to Ibiza I'll study Spanish before I go, meet club promoters, and build up a social circle. I'd also day game in Ibiza town. Even though I had a great time, I won't get as fucked up next time.. maybe only one or 2 nights max. instead of every night. If you're into house and techno music (Trance seems to be dying a quick death in Ibiza), getting fucked up, and some of the best nightlife in the world then Ibiza is a must, but if you're not into that stuff and only care about getting laid then you should probably save your money and go elsewhere. I can write more about my experience with drugs and partying in Ibiza if anybody wants to know, but that's probably inappropriate for this forum so just PM if you want to know.

Gonna be in Pärnu, Estonia soon. I know being a Finn is a minus there, but I think it'll be fine regardless...
