I've observed an effect often enough that I'm starting to think it is a structural aspect of female mate-seeking.

I've noticed frequently that interest from women comes in bursts -- and in general. For instance
- Time when a large unusual number of women have gone out to bars on a weekday, from different places and without any country-wide holiday that would indicate it.
- Huge swings in general receptiveness of women.
- Days when women are all shrugging off men, and then days where women are eager for a guy.
- Getting interest from a range of attractiveness of women (indicating it's not individual-case snubbing due to rank mismatch), and on other days plain girls are snubbing too.

I had originally been writing up this effect to my attributes changing between days. Some days being tired/energetic, scruffy/neat, recently laid/dry spell etc. But I don't think this is adding up. I think there is a more general, population-wide effect I hadn't noticed before due to my principle of always blaming myself first.

My hypothesis is that women, as a social, gossipy group, get these ripples of signals that tell them "now is man-getting time", and other times they sit more dormant. This results in sudden bursts of interest from women, and can precipitate things like multi-girl runs over a short period, followed by dry spells when the burst dies down.

If this hypothesis is correct, my theory is that it's something to do with improved chances of locking down men over all. The subsequent lulls tend to encourage men to stick with a woman they got with during a burst, more so than a monotone dating market would.

Thoughts? Anyone else suspected this or witnessed things that would indicate/counter-indicate this?

There is a fair amount of scientific evidence that shows women's menstrual cycles follow the lead of the dominant female. There is an alpha effect for periods and therefore, also the high estrogen / low estrogen rhythm.

When the alpha is ovulating, the betas follow the pack leader who is hunting for males. I'd love to know if any guys have lived with a houseful of women and can confirm this idea.

Can't say I've personally noticed this sort of thing on a day-to-day basis. In general some girls are just more receptive based on location, venue, time of day/week, but it's not exactly random from my observation.

This phenomenon you talk of could like have some biological reasoning behind it, though. Women tend to be more sexually receptive when their bodies are hormonally primed to mate. For example, I imagine certain times of the month for certain women will cause them to be particularly more horny and eager to meet men. Couple this with the fact that many groups of women will share ovulation cycles if they spend time around one another, and that is a likely conclusion.

Part of it will be your own personally psychology. When a girl approaches you or makes eyes it can give you a bit of a buzz and a glow that other women may in turn also pick up on potentially causing your to look more attractive.

again, though, this is some pretty nuanced stuff and I'm not sure sure about the prospect of certain days their are huge groups of the female population that are looking to fuck - though the idea of a sort of "mating season" could be possible.

Certain times of the year are certainly more conducive to getting laid over others.

Funny you started this thread. I've experienced this too most recently last weekend and this week. I can't say if its related to me and my inner game/swagger or girls as a hivemind are more open to chat me up. Weather could have a lot to do with it too, now that it is hotter seems like more girls are looking to hook up.

This thread just has me thinking how much girls tend to stick to group trends. As a whole women seem homogenous when it comes to most things so this theory isn't far fetched.

A good example is when you have a girl that is single, goes out with her single friends to party or fuck or whatever. If one of those girls lands a boyfriend then the other girls start trying to tie someone down and now you have girls that stay home instead of hitting the bars/clubs to get attention. From my experience this can last for an extended period of time or a yearly thing. Those sluts are now all of a sudden monks that stay home and crochet. Eventually the cycle repeats itself.

Times I've noticed "bursts" of interest:

1. When I roll into a new city I've never been to. Rationale - I believe the novelty, ZFG attitude and confidence, all because of not knowing anyone in the new town, nor giving a care what they think, translates to my swagger and over confidence beaming from me. I'm also curious about the strange new women in this place I'm visiting.

2. After a great workout, or even a day or two after. Especially after doing heavy things like dead lifts, bench, etc. It's great for confidence, posture and bearing.

3. After getting laid - in my opinion one of the best times for approaches. Especially if the bang in question was an 8+. I've found in the one or two days after banging an 8, confidence is shining off of me. Girls who I've approached who may try to walk away will notice me continuing to smirk and make amused "cold reads" on them or observations on the venue, despite their attempted departure. It's as if I'm so pleased as punch with myself and the things I'm saying that, even if she does walk off, I'm going to just keep talking because I'm so interested in what I have to say, her disinterest be damned. I've had this confident ploughing draw them curiously back in while smiling, like a tractor beam. This unflinching confidence is tougher to come by if I've been on a pussy embargo, despite my knowledge of the whole thing.

4. This one will sound a little funny, but after a good chiropractic adjustment. I've had neck problems for a while (it's getting better ) and sometimes, I get brain fog which I honestly think puts a weird confused look on my face. A good adjustment makes me clear headed and sharp which translates into a better "presence" and wittier conversation.

5. When I'm in public with an attractive woman. No explanations needed.

Season (time of year) and weather influences people's moods in general. I've noticed this not just with women but also with men. A nice day, or the beginning of Spring,or the end of summer humidity seem to put people in a better, more outgoing mood.
