“Men are hard-wired to feel strong and be a provider,” she says, noting she’s also used this method to hitch a ride to the Hamptons. “I don’t feel guilty using them for a little help.”

Can't put much blame on the poor bastard. He saw an old woman like that and thought it would be a EASY BANG. Every man would think it was and euphemism for sex.

He arrived and received a surprise that it really had an air conditioning to be fixed. Since he was already there, why not fix that shit (since it's not big deal). Little effort with a high chance of bang afterwards.
