I went to a be for the first time in a while where I didn't drink. It was refreshing. I didn't feel like an idiot, I didn't spend any money and I didn't do anything stupid. I went with a big group of guy friends (a friend's birthday) so I sat around talking and occasionally noting other guys game instead of approaching. I did however, have a long conversation with our waitress before her boss came and scolded her for being away for so long. Since I wasn't drunk Like everyone else I was able to make the conversation more "us against them" than "another drunk dude hitting on the waitress"

I quit drinking three years ago after a twenty five year run that left me unemployed and drinking alone in my apartment. I cant go back to that so i have had to reinvent my game and deal with not drinking while other people are getting their groove on. At times it can be akward, especially if i am with a girl and she orders alchohol. But, if you can get past the inital part of the night, and make the girl feel comfortable, it should not matter if i dont drink. I just "act" like i am getting toasted, by dancing and keeping the convo upbeat.

I've been going out sober for a few months now, previously it was usually 2-3 drinks a night. I can say that my night game has pretty much become independent of drinking and no longer see a reason spend money on expensive drinks. I still drink few beers here and there just because I like it, but not as a crutch to game.

Some positive things about gaming sober:

• improved awareness of what's happening around you, social cues, girls showing interest etc.
• learning is more efficient
• while going out a lot – optimally every night – drinking isn't really a sustainable lifestyle either financially or in terms of health.
• saves you a lot of money

Negatives:

• drunk guys can be really annoying but you get over it over time
• really drunk girls are repulsive

my best way to have fun sober night out = [/u]momentum of the night[/u] in my sig.

so no % usually results in stiff vibe, great way to replace the liquid source of fun vibe is to talk and socialize with a lot of people at the beginning of the night, start slow and build it up with time.

the single biggest advantage of building momentum is that at the peak of party (the most important moment) drunk guys are sloppy and very miscalibrated while you're at your finest, you're in the zone and charismatic thanks to socializing and talking to many girls.

I can't really stop once I have one in my system unless it's during the day or a special event. I've been forcing myself not to drink at all though. I hate feeling weak and slow the next day.

I don't drink either and I don't give a fuck if other people drink. I say 'you don't need to drink to be social / have fun'. Some say they'll be cool like me and not drink either. Some people just can't deal with it, which is pretty hilarious. They tend to only drink one drink at most around you when your on a date. I still get laid.
