So I just got back from a housewarming my little sister threw.

I sort of got hemmed into a corner with one of the only attractive female attendees, and we hit it off easily enough. We would've done so anyway even had I not gotten into game, the difference being I made sure I didn't establish too much comfort (we've had the same life experiences). While I gather that approaching in such scenarios, you'd be running your standard social circle game, my main question is: how much of a hazard is it in gaming someone with that degree of separation? As I would anticipate it likely to happen should I either not get the bang or when I eventually break it off — not having an LTR in mind.

I guess it varies between different siblings, but my sister is puritan enough to find the idea of her older brother dating her friends creepy — let alone hooking up casually — especially given a 6-year age gap. This particular girl has been one of my sister's closest friends for close to 10 years, despite having gone to different universities. She also gets along particularly well with my Mum.
