Hell yeah.

Just think of how many guys went to prison after being falsely accused of rape. Brian Banks is the first name that comes to mind.

The sentence was light but it is a step in the right direction.

Like I've said before, proven false rape accusers should get RSO status and a sentence equivalent to attempted rape.

All the time and resources that was dedicated to researching a non-existent crime I think that's a fair punishment.

All it take a few more high-profile cases of lying women getting arrested and jailed for false rape and other crimes before before this shit stops

I question how much of that year sentence she'll actually serve.

Year or less in Michigan will likely be served in a county jail, and for that you can immediately start filing motions for sentence reduction. Everything's overcrowded, and for female non-violent offenders judges will probably be all too happy to oblige.

I'd put the chances of her slipping up during probation at around 100%, however. Likely well on her way to being just another regular fixture in the system.

Eventually feminists will have the next edition of the DSM amended such that all false-rape accusations are considered non-prosecutable due to "mental health reasons."

Unfortunately, there's about as much chance of that ever happening as Roe v. Wade being repealed. Expect what punishment there is in Western countries to get less severe in the future, not more so. There's enormous pressure for it to be that way - according to feminists the reason false rape accusations happen at all is due to "rape culture" and is men's fault anyway, and that prosecuting for false accusations will allow more men to "get away with it" because their victims will be too scared to come forward. Better a thousand innocent men go to jail than one legitimate rapist walk free.

In Michigan you can generally earn 5 days good time per month. So out of the 365 day sentence they would most likely drop to 305. If she serves as a trustee that will reduce her time as well. She could easily end up serving less than 10 months.

Plus time served, if she spent any time in jail awaiting trial. Plus any other gifts a white knight in the DOJ or corrections dept. may decide to give to her when they come across her requests for sentence reduction. Maybe trade a BJ for it.

It'll probably just end up being a rather boring winter vacation.

Unfortunately, he speaks true. I grew up in an admittedly white trash area. And I must say, the girls had an undeniable allure to them when I/we were in high school. I come back home after only a year of college and can't believe the change. It's definitely the smoking and processed foods diet.

In this instance, a teen claimed she was repeatedly raped by two Sacred Heart University football players in a tiny basement bathroom while the party raged on.

But months after the players were dismissed from the team, stripped of their scholarships and had withdrawn from the school, 18-year-old Nikki Yovino confessed she had made the rape allegations up to gain the sympathy of a prospective boyfriend, police said.

On Wednesday, Yovino, of South Setauket, N.Y., was charged with second-degree false reporting of an incident and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

The tampering charge is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison.

After surrendering to police here, Yovino was released after posting $150,000 bond. She is scheduled to be arraigned in Superior Court on March 3.

Oh good, I really needed a refreshing girl ruins lives of men due to false rape accusation story to bring my spirits up. Been a bit too long since I've heard one. Always good to know innocent until proven guilty goes right out the window when it involves a female and sex. I'm getting strong SIF vibes from that face and picture so not sure on whether I'd bang.
