Game is supposed to work on the woman's "lizard" brain, and not the conscious side. That is exactly why they love "bad boys", they trigger their lizard brains. Intellectual discussions do the opposite, and end all chances of vagina tingles.

If a tall good looking man spoke about philosophy and string theory all night he still would get laid.

Beliefs are more powerful than facts.

Depending on the women you are aiming for... Great women are turned on by intellectual, party girl are not.

The difficult part is actually to find the great women. Aim for a library, universities, non profit organization and you will find them.
For bars and club : don't bother with them, 70% are attention seeker and the last 30% are not worth the struggle in most cases.

Good luck man !

If she values deep intellectual topics she will appreciate it if you introduce some in comfort stage, sure. She might be positively surprised that you enhance her life with interesting conversation and information. However it won't turn her on per se. It's not the way to get her horny for you if that's what you're asking.

"Comfort stage"? You mean that every conversation has a set stage where you have to reach Confidence()> MinLimit or you blow out?

Drop the beta nerd shit. "Comfort" is something that your vibe needs to put off FROM THE FIRST MOMENT SHE SHEES YOU.

RE: Does Intellectual Discussion Ever Turn Women On?
I should revise my original post to echo what other's have said, that is, intellectual TOPICS are a turnoff for women in virtually every scenario.

BEING intellectual is another story.

There was a post somewhere in the 'sphere many years ago called "Mr Juxtaposition". By now it's a well understood concept, that being contrast is king.

I can recall situations where I'd be running game on a chick and get her thinking I'm some wiley douche, then suddenly switch gears to show there's more beneath the surface (ie, I'm smarter than I seem) their interest level spikes dramatically. It has to be done right though, and as I said in my other post it absolutely cannot come off as try hard.

Really anything you can do that gets that hamster wheel spinning to where they are asking themselves questions about you is going to ramp up the attraction.

"Who are you, George Costanza?"

"I'm the opposite of every man you've ever met"

"Does PUA say that I just need to get to f-close base first here and some weird chemicals will be released in her brain to make her a better person?"

To a certain degree, if you read this forum, you probably already have contrast game working for you in the background.

Current culture subtly shoves men into two categories -- effeminate hipster (pseudo intellectual) and dumb fratboy jock. When you roll up looking masculine (workout body, posture, attitude) and put together (clean cut, form fitting clothes), you get lumped into the jock category. When you open your mouth and it's obvious you have culture and life experience and know a thing or two, it fries brains a bit.

In a good way, most of the time.

Its a turn on for her if you demonstrate you are clever.

Its a turn off if you do it too much, for too long or humiliate them with their lack of intellect.

NO. NO NO NO NO NO.

The ONLY and I mean the ONLY time being intellectual helps you with women is when you can use it to dominate or show you're superior to other people. Say for example your group is discussing something and you can correct others or you say something that shows you clearly know more about the subject matter and it makes you look better. And it has nothing to do with you being intellectual it's just a girl getting wet at a man dominating others or demonstrating more values than others.

NO NO NO NO.

Any girl who says she's a sapiosexual is a liar. Not a single woman on this entire planet is a sapiosexual who gets "turned on by intelligence".

RE: Does Intellectual Discussion Ever Turn Women On?
Hell yes.

Just look at female students developing crushes on their teachers.

As others have stated however, it's all about the frame when laying down your knowledge.

I'd also differentiate between 'turning women on' and creating attraction. The latter can be done by a far wider variety of actions than the former.

Make them work for it. Drop bite-sized red pills. Show her you're not like the rest of weak narrow-minded sheep beta males.

Utilise contrast game - you must be able to switch it up to flirting and light banter frequently.

But the skill of displaying intellectual dominance is very powerful.

Shattering her illusions about the world, proving her wrong at the most fundamental levels can make her jump into your frame just to get some stability.

Of course it also helps when schooling other people on topics in a group setting, but even one-on-one deep, intellectual conversations can be very effective just as long as you are simultaneously eliciting attraction in other ways.

I disagree with your premise. That has to do with power/authority dynamics, not intelligence. Just like women end up falling for their bosses it's about the position and power he has over.

Actually one of my good friends who's been with his fiance' for 5 years ended up breaking up with her. She fell in love with her boss.

When I was a bouncer I had a lot of girls flirt with me and touch me. Because I had authority/power in that bar. If I had been in the same black shirt without SECURITY written on the back of it I'd have been invisible.

I explained in my post above that women like power, authority and dominance. The actual intellectualism itself is besides the point. It's a means to an end.

Intellectualism, when used to display oneself as powerful, authoritative, or dominant, will help get girls. Intellectualism in and of itself, will typically dry up the pussy cuz honestly girls just aren't wired like that. Period. That's why men in prison for violent crimes get random women sending them letters, nude photos, and marriage proposals, but the guys who win on Jeopardy every week are jerking off in their apartment reading history books.

RE: Does Intellectual Discussion Ever Turn Women On?
^ Well said. It's no secret to any guy at RVF that women are into dominant men. Your intelligence is just another way of showing dominance over others. It isn't so much the intellectual content of your argument that interests women, it's the context. Let's say a woman sees you best someone in a heated debate, it's seeing your frame win out that gets 'em wet. You could say all the same things standing in front of a classroom giving a lecture and they'd be drier than the Sahara...it's the confrontational aspect that gives them the 'gina tingles. Debate is the intellectual equivalent of a fist fight.

I never stated that intelligence was the reason why intellectual discussion can be attractive, in fact I specifically put intellectual dominance in bold and my entire argument was based around highlighting that. So that means in fact we're in agreement.

RE: Does Intellectual Discussion Ever Turn Women On?
I am going to agree with those who think it leads to a negative outcome. There is the risk of ending up appearing like a potential beta provider or prudish, especially if you are not very good at humour.

But there can be exceptions. One example is when you are with a girl at the same level and interest in a place where folks of lower style and "value" congregate. Again the risk is there that a stylish, effervescent and barely literate due with swagger will end up swooping her up after you've spent the whole time entertaining her with your talk. Some women who are/appear highly intellectual or educated sometimes want something different from their "boring" life when they go out.

RE: Does Intellectual Discussion Ever Turn Women On?
Women go into fields like STEM, medicine, etc. for essentially one of two reasons: they've got something to prove and want to show "anything a man can do, I can do better", or they like lots of money.

I'm generalizing a little bit, of course. But the shoe often fits.

The number 1 thing you can do to turn off a real nerd girl (not the "nerd girl" anime fan who smokes pot all day and plays Counterstrike) is to start talking about "work." I'm trying to relax, asshole. It's just my day job. Stop mansplaining.

Go 'head, try it sometime.

The content of the discussion doesn't matter as long as it makes her feel. Men on the forum always take about how it bothers them that women are illogical and emotional but that same thing is the gate key to them opening their legs for you. Take advantage of that.

That's why vastly different guys can all have different game and get laid. The key to that is they all make these girls feel.

RE: Does Intellectual Discussion Ever Turn Women On?
It is a double edged sword. With some girls it will ruin the interaction, for other girls it is a necessity. So calibration is important.

In EE I met a lot of girl who got super into me when we went into deep intellectual conversations, even when I spilled some red pill truths on them they seemed impressed.

I love to discuss the tribal society and why successful men want more women. These seems to change their views a bit.

One point important not to miss. I don't mean talking while sitting on opposite sides of the table while drinking coffee. You should not give a vibe of a scholar. When you sit with a girl while your hand is around her waste and talk the talk or after sex talk, the deep intellectual conversation will be relevant.

Don't open a girl and jump into discussing Freud's theories Big Grin Build some attraction first.

RE: Does Intellectual Discussion Ever Turn Women On?
No. Back when I was a virgin, I'd have great intellectual conversations with girls. After those conversations, they'd proceed to bang the dumbfucks at the party or get-together I was at because those dudes had some game and alcohol fueled courage.

Girls want to sleep with a guy who they see flashes of intelligence in - as in they know you are smart - but you are that smooth attractive guy at those parties they always dream of meeting - or at least hooking up with a for a night.

When I stopped trying to be "intelligent" and just focused on being as smooth and as sexual as possible, I went from being a virgin to banging 10 girls in two years. This forum and others in the manosphere helped me greatly.

All I know though, is that women don't want intelligence conversation. IT doesn't turn them on. Sure, a bit of it helps to show them you aren't stupid, but if you want success, slowly turn the conversation sexual and escalate - in an intelligent manner.

If you are going to show your smart side, make strong, deep, and piercing eye contact as if you are trying see their soul. It's the first step to deep and strong penetration.

"Be a leader and never ever follow" That's what my father, that's what he always told me. So with those words boldly spoken, he sent me down a long and hard road.

As a few have mentioned previously, context is everything.

If you can make another women she hates look stupid in public, that can be huge. That's not just intelligence though. You need a good sense of humor and timing as well as high social intelligence.

Essentially intellect and game combined.

If you are knowledgeable and articulate in a subject a woman cares deeply about (even if you are opposed to her viewpoint)... it can be a turn on for her.
