I wonder if he speaks fluent Russian as his father was the son of Russian jews who moved to the United States. Not sure how many of you guys know but Steven speaks fluent Japanese.

Speaks Japanese and probably Russian too, is close friend with several EE presidents, is a true martial-art champ', a bona fide law-enforcement official, a successful action movie star... The kind of man V. Putin has in his corner. Obama on the other hand, has Kim Kardashian.

Yeah, I actually met him way way back in Victorville during an Aikido demonstration. A lot of people make fun of him but he is the highest ranking Aikido master out there. Extremely skilled and his recent movies don't do him any justice.

That's because in his recent movies he's way overweight and almost every fight scene is done with crazy-camera or stunt doubles. At least one of "his" new movies that featured him on the cover barely had five minutes of Seagal in the whole film.

I'll stick to his old stuff. I never get tired of seeing him punishing someone's walnuts.

There's a clip of him being interviewed in Russia. He could only utter perhaps 1-2 words of russian but supposedly has claimed fluency in four languages in the past and a 90's film of his has him talking a sentence's worth in russian I think. 'Glimmer Man' was the movie and it's been too long for me to remember what language was used in that film.

He comes off as a slippery sleazebag who likes to bully those smaller than him but has admittedly achieved a lot of status in his life. You can admire someone's achievements without liking the person.
