The Generation Z thread
It's turning out that the pendulum is swinging towards the right with Generation Z.

Quote:Teenagers born after 2000 - the so-called 'Generation Z' - are the most socially conservative generation since the Second World War, a new study has found.

The youngsters surveyed had more conservative views on gay marriage, transgender rights and drugs than Baby Boomers, Generation X or Millennials.

The questioned were more prudent than Millennials, Generation X and Baby Boomers but not quite as cash-savvy as those born in 1945 or before.

Sociology experts class those born in or before 1945 as the Silent Generation; people born between 1946 and 1964 as Baby Boomers; those born between 1965 and 1980 as Generation X; and anyone born between 1980 and 2000 as Millennials.

Only 14 and 15-year-olds were surveyed, by brand consultancy The Gild, as they were classed as being able to form credible opinions by that age.

When asked to comment on same-sex marriage, transgender rights and cannabis legislation, 59 per cent of Generation X teenagers said they had conservative views.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-...e-WW2.html

I made a comment on this with the last podcast with Quintus, where I noticed that my Gen Z brother consumes 4chan memes and Youtube videos that are out of reach of establishment control, compared to my other Millennial brother who has consumed more establishment media (Daily Show, South Park, etc.).

The economic comfort level of Gen Z is still high, but you'll have more diversity of thought that pushes them towards the red pill. They were raised in an era where ideas of the manopshere and other dissident right movements are essentially normalized. I also wonder if their higher rates of autism and asperger's will push them more towards logical red pill thinking instead of the emotional arguments of leftism.

I don't know how accurate the linked study is, but I do not accept the assumption that Gen Z will be worse than millennials. We'll have to wait and see.

I can't say the same about my own brother unfortunately, but I know a lot of kids who are pretty hilarious with their insights and surprisingly self aware.

These are english kids too.

I'm hopeful for the future even with all of the indoctrination. They'll naturally push back on it. Anything your teacher says is instantly uncool.

The millenials will have their own trial by fire. I'm not discounting my generation quite yet.

RE: Study: Generation Z is more conservative than Millennials
Speaking from on the ground, this is bs. The less drinking, drugs (and sex) thing has been a consistent trend across recent generations but not on social issues.

14 and 15 is too young to survey. Trust me when I tell you Millennials were running around saying faggot this homo that at school when they were that age too, and now something like 90% support same-sex marriage. It wasn't PC then either but kids that age are all little shitlords, they don't care. Things start changing real quick later in high school and that doesn't stop at least until they've graduated from university. Honestly I don't even think it's the teachers and professors that are the main reason why. It's the media, especially the media that young people consume (and I'm not talking about the major liberal newspapers).

Edit:
I should add I think Millienials notch counts are going to end up higher than the Baby Boomers and Gen X even though the research so far has shown otherwise, because it came out before Tinder took off. And that has completely changed the game for people my age.

RE: Study: Generation Z is more conservative than Millennials
One theory can be that as more and more Generation X & Millennial (1960s-1995) women become teachers & the newer generations do dress like prostitutes in the classroom sometimes, while the students of the current Generation get punished, or even arrested by police, for "dress code violations" such as sagging pants, wearing a non-sexualized tank top, etc....it's obvious to occur that these Generation Z students are gonna silently revolt.

Example: 14-year-old Tyrone wears a decent polo shirt to classes, but his pants sag because he lost some weight from exercising and dieting. 28-year-old Feminazi Millennial teacher calls the cops on Tyrone, but Tyrone tells the cop that the feminazi teacher looks like a prostitute in that cleavage showing armless vest. Tyrone ends up getting tased for "resisting arrest". Chanty Binx & other rabid women march on the street to promote Slutwalk.

or that 16-year-old high school chick who wanted to tease Mort from Family Guy's 15-year-old son by sending him only one sexy selfie, but the cleavage-showing butch dyke haircut feminazi teacher confiscate her phone, ends up calling the police, and the chick and Mort's son end up as "Sex Offenders". Mort's son dies after getting raped in jail by a white knight who believes that a male student is "lucky" when his female teacher lets him fuck her in the ass.

Now you see why Generation Z is silently revolting. When I was growing up, there wasn't "empowered" women teachers that crazy like the Slutwalk generation liaising with a police state forcing 5-year-olds to learn about anal sex.

But this Generation Z is the most affected generation so far regarding SJW & political correctness. Their natural instinct is to silently go against the status quo like any other high school teenage generation, status quo in this case is feminism & political correctness.

Bingo RBerkley. The contrarian rebel phase runs from teens to early twenties. I hooked up with a younger girl on Bumble the other day and was thinking about this because per her profile she was conservative ("White Christian female that voted Trump, how else may I offend you today?" and "Dislikes: feminism, snowflakes, bad hombres, cigarettes") but she had some non-conservative traits (bunch of tattoos, clit ring). It made me realize by swinging conservative, she is just going against everything she is bombarded by (liberal media and college) and wonder if she really is just going against the status quo and being edgy.

Either way, WBA: will bang again.

RE: Study: Generation Z is more conservative than Millennials
As someone with young step-siblings of both genders, I think this is accurate. The girl (16) told be specifically that "she doesn't like feminists", and the boy (13) thought it was (after his initial surprise) "cool" when he found out I supported Trump, because it's the complete opposite of what he's preached to at school. He's also an avid online gamer, which lends itself to the overall anti-SJW culture.

That generation is not necessarily "conservative", they've just been exposed to the worst excesses of the prog-left and want no part of it. Why? Because they can probably tell it's full of losers. I mean, if you're a 13 year old kid, who's going to seem more fun and rebellious to you: Lacy Green talking about how fat positivity is wonderful... or Milo saying "feminism is cancer" and "Muslims blow everyone up"?

If you've never met a forum member - I'll assume you're lying

@ Texas:

Nice @ sexxing up that chick who don't smoke tobacco.

Ideologically speaking, she could be against feminism because it is a form of elitist garbage these days, so don't rule her out as the Chanty Binx class of 2011-2015.

Yuh know what's funny? When I ask Generation Z high schoolaz about what they think of their feminazi teacher (likely from age 23-34 Millennial), they hate her because these breed of feminazi teachers are micromanagers who police the way a female student dresses, but the feminazi teacher is pointing fingers when she herself is teaching in a low-neckline top &/or TRANSLUCENT see-through top in class.

Chanty Binx Generation of women dress like whores while teaching their students, but they piss off the students by enforcing a quasi-police state.

Fashion is one way teens rebel, but it used to be teens rebelling against a trend of fashion, & not some feminazi cunt with authority acting like a hypocrite creating "ZERO TOLERANCE" policies to get low-income black boys shot by police because his pants was too large for him, or slut-shaming a female student for coming to class wearing an armless vest, while the feminazi teacher dresses scantily like a prostitute in her air-conditioned office.

Generation Z high schoolaz in the United States like it when I rant against their feminazi female teacher. I didn't know that it was that bad, but it's worse in Canada. Americans tend to express their complaints to the world, while Canadians keep it quiet.

Idea of "Feminism" to Generation Z high school students is like this in-your-face religious cultism....

While Generation Chanty Binx at 20-year-old complains about "rape, wape, rape, wape, rape, mi haffi go abroad to complain more wape, mi wuk 50 cents pon di dollar to vacay in Dubai, you tell me hello, then I was waped, wape, wape, rape, rape, rape, wape, wape, rape, rape, wape.. (Parody of Rihanna "Work" entitled "Rape"), there is a pissed off 17-year-old teenage chick whose court date for "child pornography" is due next week because she took a picture of herself in a swimsuit, while a Millennial "breastfeeding mother" is provided Adsense Revenue on YouTube for videoing a "breastfeeding" video of her fully nude & her 10-year-old son learning to finger his mother in the ass.

Teenage chicks be steaming mad that older women are punishing them. This is why not many are buying into that Chanty Binx police-state feminist bullshit.

RE: Study: Generation Z is more conservative than Millennials
It could also be that worsening economic conditions are contributing to this shift.

For the majority of people, their political views begin to form during late teenage years. For Millennials, that happened during the 1990s and early 2000s, when the Western World arguably entered a zenith in terms of political stability and economic prosperity. For Generation Z, that is happening right now, in times of worsening political stability and economic prosperity.

When I look around me, it's no wonder the biggest SJWs I personally know just happen to be people who were born with a silver spoon and live lives full of leisure. They're completely autistic when it comes to real life issues around them.

On the other side, it's less likely you'll develop a leftist-SJW mindset when you can't find a decent job, when girls ignore you and flock to alpha douchebags, and when your neighborhood is rapidly filling with third world savages who'd be very happy to rob you and rape your sister. That's one interesting aspect of life; it has a certain tendency to bitchslap you mercilessly until you adapt and change your views to reflect more with reality.

From my contact with Generation Z and youngest Millenials here in Serbia I get the same impression. A small anecdotal evidence: there are right wing/patriotic/nationalist organizations in Serbia that organize bus tours to Kosovo (usually around religious holidays) where you go to visit the Monasteries and Serbian people that still live there in the enclaves and to bring them supplies and other forms of help that they desperately need. A friend of mine (born in '88) took such trip two years ago and he was the oldest person in the bus.

When Dennis the Menace was lecturing Mr. Wilson on recycling, I instinctively knew I was being patronised, which taints the message. I grew up fine. The more overbearing the message is, the more likely smarter kids will reject it. Realistically, you only need the smart ones.

I've noted my observations that Generation Z socialise very differently to their older brothers and sisters for a while on here now: it's group-based, much more like my own childhood, and phones seem to serve a utilitarian function for them, not as a distraction from the people they're with.

We're winning and winning hard and fast.

Lefties know it and running scared.

They'll still try to burn everything down to leave us nothing.

My only regret is the baby boomers aka the worst generation will probably not live to see their life "work" undone.

RE: Study: Generation Z is more conservative than Millennials
I think you guys are missing a major point. All the teachers and professors for Millennials were SJW as well. As older posters have noted this has been a thing for decades. Teaching always has and probably always will be a left wing profession. And if any generation were going to rebel against it because that is what they were taught you would expect that to be the Millennials who were taught by left-wing Boomers. Like I said kids don't really listen to their teachers anyway. What they do listen to though is what's going on in popular culture. The youth will turn conservative when Hollywood, TV and the musicians they listen to become conservative.

EDIT:
The big difference for the youngest set is technology and social media. These kids have had smartphones since they were 5 and Tinder has become the primary way that young people date. Myself and people my age have noticed for years now that people just a few years younger than us are for more addicted to social media than we are and that's saying something. Good example, typical hot 22 year old girl posts a new profile picture on Facebook and she will get at least 100 likes. The same girl who is 18 will get 300.

I've noticed this in Serbia too. While the country as a whole is much more conservative or "right wing" than the West in general, the youngest generations are the most patriotic. Even polling indicates that it's actually young people who are the most against Serbia ever joining the EU and the most in favor of things like bringing back the military draft.

I think it's a product of what other people in the thread touched on. Older generations in Serbia grew up in socialism with all of the "Brotherhood and Unity" garbage of Yugoslavia. The country borrowed massive amounts of debt and for a few decades, the standard of living was manageable. This is the period that they reached political maturity.

The younger generations on the other hand didn't grow up with any of that. The only socialism and multiculturalism they know is the socialism and multiculturalism that produced war and the economic devastation they lived through. Their political views reflect that accordingly.

The same process is just beginning to happen in the West. I have no doubt that as economic conditions continue to deteriorate and Western countries become less and less safe, Western Gen Z'ers will become more right-wing and more radical in their views.

In America this is by far the most diverse generation to date. As a result I don't think they will end up very conservative, maybe slightly more than millenials as a best case scenario. The things the teach in school these days are absurd and I'm a millenial who is not that far removed.

I've read conclusions, because this is not only US, but Europe as well, that these are children of Reagan/Thatcher youth, lets say 18-24 around the fall of the Wall around 1990, would make them 45-50 years old, just the right age for teenage children.

RE: Study: Generation Z is more conservative than Millennials
This new generation may be conservative in the sense that they are anti-establishment, anti-pc, etc, but they certainly won't be conservative when it comes to the sexual market place. Girls will be sluttier than ever, and due to things like Tinder being completely normalized their alpha chasing will only get worse.

While my generation of Occupy Wallstreet Feminist Loving Faggot Millennials continues to complain about income inequality and the 99% of wealth concentrated in the 1%, Generation Z men will spend their time protesting the 1% of elite alpha males whose harems literally contain 99% of the pussy.

We are quickly approaching the pussy grabbing singularity where your average man will soon spend his entire life working tirelessly for his one chance to grab one pussy, where after 10 million Tinder swipes and 30 years of relentless effort he finally gets one match just to be insta blocked when he uses the wrong emoji in his opener.

Hopefully the universities don't ruin them. We've seen many a normal millennial walk into a university and emerge a raving leftist from the other side. It's a meme around here.

Luckily, the manosphere has done a great job of showing alternatives to post-secondary after high school. If these youth are paying attention, they'll notice degrees for the sake of degrees and the accompanying student debt aren't always a good choice.

My generation, the millennials, have some of the faggiest and most entitled people around, living easy lives while claiming victimhood. All the best to Gen Z if they can see this weakness/lack of self-efficacy for what it is and decide to pursue a stronger path.

The underlying premise stands to reason in a way.
Kids have a tendency to 'rebel' or do the opposite of their parents.

Lefty parents? Righty kids...

No, that's what kids would do when we were kids. Neon colored hair is for college and post college folks, considered to be dinosaurs by teenagers and middle schoolers. Get on with the times old man (this also includes me, Sad), just kidding man.

Color me skeptical that they turn more conservative, unless they have to go through massive suffering, as in a huge financial crash or civil war. The main problem is that young people go through indoctrination centers known as the public schools. That's why Trump's pick for Education Sec is super important. We need school choice to bypass the propaganda mills.

Kids have a tendency to 'rebel' or do the opposite of their parents.

Lefty parents? Righty kids...

I've never met someone who grew up with lefty parents that didn't come out even more left. I don't doubt it happens but those are the exceptions that prove the rule. You can see this for yourself in high schools in the inner north of Melbourne since they are populated by the children of the intelligentsia and the oldest hipsters i.e Northcote, Brunswick, Princes Hill and University high schools. Also a fair few in the local private schools like Ivanhoe Grammar.

The opposite happens all the time though but that's what you'd expect anyway.

EDIT:
Has anybody else noticed that the youngest Millennials are noticeably more SJW than the older ones? I'm meeting seemingly normal 18 and 19 year old suburban white girls who have started to disparagingly bring up "old white men" in front of me on dates, unprompted. The most recent case is actually doing Computer Science too. This has happened to me before but only from girls a little older who you would expect to be liberal anyway. Never from your run of the mill basic bitch.

Absolutely the 27-34 millennials are a different breed than the younger ones. I'm 30 and we weren't indoctrinated in college or high school with the same level garbage the younger millennials were.
