I do wonder sometimes if American men are so seriously cucked now that they would view a girl banging their favorite NFL star as a selling point for marriage. Then again, I don't get the point of wearing team jerseys, either. Why do I want some other dude's name across my back, anyway?

It really is a lower level of white knighting in a way, I have done it all the time too. Give girls I only want as casual or pump and dump a free pass at their behavior. It does set them on the treadmill to keep doing it as male guidance gives them a pass.

It depends on how much under the pussy spell one is under. Its funny that the fwb's or casual girls never bring this stuff up with me. Its the LTR's that usually do. In the past I used to think it was because they were too comfortable with me. One I called out on it and sent her on her way after years. Another I didn't call her on it, and regret it to this day, because I was under that pedestal spell. I think if an LTR pulls this you have to call her on it. If not, you are setting yourself up for more BS. At this point if a FB brought this up after we had sex, I would kick her to the curb. Good FB's dont do this.

I think by that point he had already came to that conclusion. She used to triangulate me like that when I was checked out. Poor bastard. I kept asking her about him, acting like her friend in the conversation, popping a hole in her balloon. She got the hint and hasn't come around since.

This gets back to that other thread about nexting. I see that point more and more, its easy to next early on, but if you have one to keep around, you have to tactfully check her, to keep her and correct her. Checking, calling out, etc, firmly sets the frame long term. But I really think you have to pick the battles, and not overstep in your indignation.

My goal with women was to always make every one of them fall in love with me. Either I've gotten extremely lazy, or this younger batch (32 and younger), is extremely tough to crack. I still get it from time to time, but the girl that bends over backward to make you her king, is getting harder to find. Maybe I have gotten lazy in abundance. Reemerging again in game for me is going back to what I know works, which has always hooked and had several exes say I love you to me after a few months. Its tightly disciplined game, and takes self control and work. Lower numbers, high quality, taking my time. No more Tinder trash.

The whole guilt/shame/judgment thing with women is really not about the morality or right and wrong. The only thing women care about is maintaining societal approval regardless of whether they agree with society's yardstick or not. That's why women can simultaneously take issue with stigmatizing promiscuity on an abstract basis and yet still want to avoid being labeled a slut. Their power to operate within society demands that they maintain a more virtuous facade. And so you can wind up with a public/private life split worthy of a televangelist.

I'm glad to say I've met a couple girls in their late 20s and early 30s like that, including the main girl I'm dating now. With white girls in that age range the caring types have all seemed to fit a certain pattern: well-educated, came from a stable, mostly happy home life where Mom and Dad seem like solid folks, grew up in a decent-sized town in a suburban/rural area, often an older brother she respects in the picture, too. She has the "happy" gene and while she gets bitchy and into funks from time to time like any woman, she doesn't stay unhappy long. Often more introverted, prefers reading to going out, and often works in a nurturing profession like education/healthcare.

I don't see this type a lot with younger girls say under 25. Sure, I'd feel great having a 23 y/o fall in love with me in my late 30s, but it hasn't happened yet. I'm in good shape and run some okay game at this point in my life, and I've hooked up with a much younger chick or two. But could any of them fall in love with me? Jury is still out on that one.

My girl's younger friend has been dating the same guy for several months and I've seen them around. She seems to like him well enough. But I don't see love in her eyes when she looks at him, at least not more than the love you give any other "lifestyle accessory."

This reminds me of a story of this girl I used to know. She was a typical hot spoiled entitled rich white girl. She used to be a good girl but turned into a hard core partier slut.
