As many forum members know, San Francisco is not the greatest dating market in the world, given the ratios, cost, and numerous anti-man factors accelerating in the culture. Recently, a new wrinkle in the marketplace was revealed to me by a 26 year old attractive single female, a technique illustrating the depravity of just how bad it's gotten in San Francisco and the (rather pathetic) ingenuity required for a slight chance at scoring some poon.

She claims the new but not quite commonplace pickup technique among guys at parties or semi-social circle gatherings (i.e., gallery openings, festivals, conferences, venues aside from regular night clubs). Guys will approach and open with a happenstance revelation that they are gay. From there, the girl feels relieved she isn't being hit on by yet another tech nerd douchebag who thinks the world owes him a blow job because he makes $200k, lives in an overpriced San Francisco studio apartment and has a bus pass.

The conversation continues easily from there, with the guy presumably applying some fake-gay variation of game. Several drinks into the night, with maybe a venue change or two, comes the pitch near the end - "let's roll back to my place so we can try a couple of the wines I brought back from Tuscany," etc. When at that point the girl's antenna goes up and figures, "hey, ok, he's bi or maybe an occasional switch hitter, what the heck" and the guy might actually score. If not, she writes it off to just a gay guy being drunk and they part ways - but with him probably having a second shot at it later on - he is, at this point, her "new gay friend."

She knows about this technique because a friend of hers experienced this, put out for the guy, and later wondered if he was actually gay or not since the vibe totally changed once he scored the bang. Regardless, when that friend went to donate blood a few weeks later and was asked if she'd ever had sex with a man who had sex with another man, she answered "yes" out of precautions. The Red Cross told her as a result of this, she was ineligible to donate blood (the Roosh "You dropped a bomb on my boner" factor.")

I really thought I'd heard of everything in that town, but this is probably enough to make a single guy with game problems cop out and go MGTOW. Or better yet, just fuck off and go to SEA.

1) Its always a friend. Its never them.

2) The only time you should give blood is if you see the person bleeding out and your blod type is a match. Say, you are on a battlefield. The red cross is a scam. They sell your blood components.

3) The more times a man pretends to be gay, the easier its gonna be to actually suck a cock. Its a slippery slope.

As someone who lived in the Bay Area for over a decade, I always give the following advice to men:

Leave the freakin' Bay Area! If you live there, stack cash ASAP. If you have a crappy job, the cost of living isn't worth living there. Just move to somewhere else. Better cost of living, better women, better male friends, etc. You won't regret it for a minute.

What a sad state of affairs that a straight man has to act like a fag just to appear "safe". Hell no.

So you heard second-hand that a girl's friend got scammed by a guy who initially pretended to be gay and you call it a "new wrinkle in the marketplace" and equate it with depravity of the SF dating marketplace.

Now, while the marketplace is certainly depraved in SF, a single instance second-hand that could've easily been her friend attention-whoring or justifying her slutty behavior does not a trend make.

Damn, I did a search but that did not come up - my bad. As for hearing only one story, how many do I really need to hear? A single 26 year old female local is better connected to the San Fran market than I ever want to be. Even one anecdotal instance is bad enough.

This basic idea is nothing new. This technique is called active disinterest. It's a means of increasing your value by disqualifying yourself to women you approach so that they drop their guard. It's all a variation on the same thing I.e. calling yourself gay, saying she's not your type, you have a girlfriend etc. Obviously very effective. Especially in difficult dating markets like SF. Women will be intrigued you don't automatically find them attractive and thirst on them.

I agree that iron went from something that used to be promoted as an essential supplement throughout the early seventies to a widely recognized unnecessary additive to any supplement plan. However the "...better designed to withstand the rigors of life" is self-serving narcissistic trope on the part of the SJW-influenced author. Avoidance of things like diabetes, cancer and heart disease, while real dangers in modern life, were not drivers of evolutionary development since these problems really only manifested in the very recent era of crap food, limited exercise and bad lifestyle habits.

If women were truly so much better at withstanding the rigors of life we would find a plethora of female-only Amazon type societies throughout history where men were used only for sperm donations while women fend for themselves. History doesn't back this up, I'm afraid.

The truly stronger sex would not develop innate hypergamous tendencies and move through the eons using whatever advantage they can to secure their safety and well being.
