Amber Tamblyn was much more attractive in The Ring. Particularly due to her weight, she's nose-dived massively.

Okay, aesthetically-speaking, Cross is superficially batting above his average, but only moderately so and also because we don't see Tamblyn sans make-up. The guy does shit all to improve his appearance and he's still not noticeably out of her league.

Even with the age difference, I wouldn't be remotely surprised to see a non-celebrity couple like them on the street.

Though I don't think Christina Hendricks is as attractive as others claim, THIS is a much bigger gap than that between David Cross and Amber Tamblyn:

She appears in the hitting the wall thread. I liked her a lot in her late teens. I always thought she was cute, but maybe a little small breasted. When I saw her pictures in the wall thread, I thought it was an excellent example of the wall.

However, seeing this couple, I think this David Cross guy (who I've never heard of) is doing well to have a girl like her.

I would agree she should lose some weight. Unfortunately, if she did, her face would actually look older, but her body would be better.
