Hey guys, basic day-game question here.

I'm coming from experience with nightgame but not much during the day. I live in San Francisco in the city center and have been trying my hand at daygame. The problem I'm having is that I wander around too much, and get tired after a few hours and eventually go home.

There are a bunch of cafes and a busy street near me, and I'm there like everyday, but when sitting in a cafe a pretty girl by herself comes in like once an hour. Or on the street once every 20-30 minutes. There are a bunch of girls who walk around, but most are in groups of 2-3+. This is a pretty big delay in between opportunities compared to night-game and I've been resolving it by wandering around, but get super tired after awhile, start sweating etc. (there are a lot of fucking hills in this city).

Any advice on staying put vs. wandering around the city, and ideal venues in an American city?

If you go out to exclusively "day game" you will find yourself wandering aimlessly and thirsty. I think the trick is to have a purpose when you go, even if it is trivial. Need a bottle of ketchup? Great, take a stroll to the grocery store, chatting along the way with anyone you meet. Need some bread to go with your ketchup? Stop by the bakery. Need something to read while you are eating your snack? Stop by the library. Just keep moving, hanging out at a location in the hopes that someone will come in will be slow.

It's the biggest downside of daygaming. Unless you're fortunate to be in an area that's close to a uni campus or some such, you'll have to go long periods in between targets Best is to place yourself somewhere prime and give it some time.

My experience with game is primarily day game. In America in general I have found that the best solution to your problem is one of two things: grocery stores/big stores or malls.

I've only been to San Fran once and don't know much about it, but I am willing to bet that your best option for day game, at least during the week, is to hit up grocery stores or places like Wal Mart or Target beginning at 5pm and up to about 7pm.

I have a route that I take where I can hit up to 7 of these locations in about 2 or so hours (I drive in between). Usually if I go at the right time (5-7) I can talk to 1-3 girls that fit my attractiveness qualifications at each place that I go to.

The only major downside to this is you might end up being seen as a creep by staff if they regularly see you walking in and out of their store without buying anything, although most don't give a shit.

The second option is malls, which I don't have too much experience with. On a Saturday or Sunday afternoon you can hit upwards of 20 approaches just by walking around a mall.

The approach that one of the previous posters suggested about gaming when you're on your way to buy or do something is not going to get you very good results if day game is your bread and butter (unless you're in NYC possibly). You simply won't run into enough girls because day game is a HUGE numbers game. This is a good strategy if your main way of pulling is night or online game and you want to supplement that.

Something I stumbled on recently and have been doing for a few weeks now, is to just go running/jogging around the city. Whenever you see a hot girl, just run past her 20 ft or so, stop, take your headphones off, and then walk slowly (since you're tired from just having run, she doesn't know if your ran 3miles or 20 ft lol), once she catches up to you, just turn and say your opener.

This does 3 things, it makes the approach seem more "spontaneous", which girls like the idea of meeting their dream guy in "meant to be" scenarios. Second, it allows you to cover WAY more ground than if you're just walking, plus you can catch up to girls that you see up ahead without seeming like you ran up JUST to talk to her. And third, it make is "ok" to be sweaty. She won't care since she knows you're sweaty from running and keeping in good shape.. this also make it even more "spontaneous".

And as a bonus... it makes you run!! which is great this time of the year.

I've tried grocery stores like Whole Foods but the one near me is small enough that the staff notice that you're in there hitting on chicks once you do it several times. Maybe I'll have to try a larger store. Thanks for the tips.

I've had the same issue when I was Daygaming heavy (funny since I'm feeling the urge to get back into it again hard) and the only way to stay active and keep it exciting is to do a mixture of gaming between hitting a bookstore or coffee shop for some indirect action, and going direct in the streets. I won't post any links
since I think there was a situation between Roosh and the London Daygame guys... but going direct on the street via the Yosha or Yad stop brings the nightclub
type of rush to the slow pace of Daygame.

Some absolutely hate it, and I myself wrestled for about 2 months before even thinking about doing it... but when I but when I did... it is bar none the best approach to give you the most attraction & shock points foo the bat. I still think an indirect situational approach is the best scenario (approach that's non street - similar to a coffee shop or bookstore convo - For anything street related direct simply works WAY better from my experience). If you do decide to try it if you're not already... always focus on having a Gap big enough to fit in! When you approach a chick... and you bump into her... getting it back doesn't work! Just like in Football... it's a fumble!

What are your results like so far applying 'jogging game'?

Pretty decent, I'd say I can get about 25% into a real conversation, like 10-15 mins, and occasionally longer. Of those, I'd say about 80% I can number close (the other 20% usually are dating someone). Of those that I number close, I get about 50% to respond to texts. Of those that respond to texts, I probably get about 50% to meet up.

You're always going to lose some at each stage. This was also my first 100 daygame approaches, although I've been doing night game for quite some time, so I wasn't really learning game, just learning the differences in day/night.

Another note, I've gotten 2 insta dates for coffee in that first 100, EVEN though I was sweaty af lol.

On the next topic of direct/indirect, I usually go with a "hey, quick question for ya" type opener, then I go direct with something like "I absolutely LOVE your X (could be her look, her headband, her shoes, etc.)". I find that on the first 2-3 approaches of the day, I use an indirect opener like, "hey quick question, what's the COOLEST coffee shop around here", then I go into a DHV about how I was traveling in X city and they had the coolest "off the grid" type coffee shops. Then I go direct once that convo thread dies, so again with the above, "I absolutely LOVE your X". I also use "You're absolutely ADORABLE" if they don't actually have anything cool that I like about their look.

Hope this helps guys. I'm excited to get started on my next 100! The first 40-50 of the last 100 I was just getting rid of approach anxiety since it's WAY different than approaching in a bar.

One more note, I find that I still get nervous when I know other people can hear, like in a grocery store. That's why I like the street a little more, they are usually spread out enough to get into the convo before someone walks by.

One last note (for realz this time lol), don't go direct when other people can hear, it makes the girl nervous. In this situation, you're not going indirect for YOU, you're going indirect for HER so she doesn't feel judged by the other people (but you still wanna be direct with your eye contact/voice tone, just not with the content of your words). <--- credit RSD Todd for that one. And yeah, I'm sure some will disagree with this, and yes if you do go direct in front of an audience and SHE is cool with it, then MASSIVE MASSIVE attraction just because you had the balls to do it... but that's a rare case imo.

This is in response to both what OP responded to me with about a small grocery store and staff seeing him as well as the quote above.

I struggled with the issue of talking to a girl during the day with other people around beginning with when I started day game many years ago. I still do not approach more than one girl by herself in day game at grocery stores or similar type places.

The reason I don't approach more than a single girl isn't so much approach anxiety, though, as I have a strong sense that many girls shopping for groceries in groups are going to girl code each other and either they are really going to like me or I'll be labelled as a HUGE creep. I don't believe this is the case everywhere in the world, but this has been my experience in America.

About the issue of approaching while other people can hear, that is entirely an issue of a form of approach anxiety. It is no one's business that you're talking to a girl at a store, and in my experience virtually no one will make it their business. I've had some weird old guys jump into my conversation once on an instadate at a bookstore, but that is the only negative I've had approaching in the day around other people. Of the few other times that other people have gotten involved, it is usually an older woman saying he is handsome or something like that. This is after at the very least 500+ day time approaches in America. Again, this is just approach anxiety and should be eliminated from yourself if you want to be great at day game, at least in my opinion.

About the issue of staff at stores seeing you and reacting. I think this is a legitimate issue and potentially bad, but not something that can't be countered in a couple of ways. The first way is to hit a larger grocery store like Walmart, Target, or wherever is convenient for you. If you really want to hit a smaller venue, and I've gamed in Whole Foods many times, just befriend the staff. You can always go in and buy one or two items that you actually need and make it a point to be talkative and friendly and get to know as much of the relevant staff as possible. If you can come off as a people person they will like you to begin with, and when you do talk to girls they'll just think your charming self is just being charming as usual.

As far as day game goes malls and grocery stores are in my opinion THE best ways to proceed in MOST American cities. Coffee shops and gyms are not as effective for approaching high numbers and require a different type of game. Meeting women on the streets or out in public whether walking or jogging is totally dependent on which city you are in (in NYC it can be enough to keep you much more than satisfied, but in San Antonio probably not). The only other type of day game I can think of now is while driving and at gas stations. Gas stations are just like a grocery store, and driving is usually a shock for most women and fun, although results aren't super good.
