What is the best opener here?
How do you ask the guy which one he is hitting on while the girls are both standing there?
I base myself in a backpacker party island so mostly the guy will have just met them that night so "how do you guys know each other" usually won't be a successful enough filter.

One of my last bangs comes from the set like this. It is always clear which girl is his if any.
Same applies to any group with one guy 2 girls, 3 girls even 10.

Few ways you can do it.
1. Situational if it presents it self - in my case they were making a selfie so I approached them and offered to make a picture. Than I commented on how come only one of them has a boyfriend.

2. Approach a guy and ask him "dude, what is your secret" how come you have 2,3,4,5,6,7 (insert a number) girls when I have none. He will say no they are just my colleagues, or no these are not my girlfriends and gives you permission to talk to them.

3. Just go for a girl who is not next to the dude and approach directly. Doable, but can cause a conflict, so I would stick with the first two.

Specific opener is irrelevant. You ask for an opener cause you want a line that will get attraction and blow out the guy in one move. Wrong mindset.

Open with anything just to break the ice and carry on so that you are IN. Your goal here is only to break in and stay IN for a bit.

You can open girls or him or all of them at once. The be ready for his attention on you. He will probably want to outgame you. Girl might want shittest you as well.

Point is just go in and deal with shit aftetwards. You effort should be directed at reactions of the group, not on how to open properly.
