I've been to both. I'd pick Miami:

1.Miami beach water ic cristal clear and WARM, LA beach water is C-c-c-c-o-o-ld!

3. Both cities are full of gold-diggers, but LA trumps Miami there.

Madrid once. Barcelona several times. (My father's best friend is from there, we visited his family.) Mallorca/Menorca twice. Canarian islands several times.

I think the women will be a lot different but there's a huge amount of 8+ chicks in both from what I read.

For me, geography would be a big thing-- there's a lot more varied geography near LA I think. There's Bear Mountain just a couple hours away where you can ski in winter, other more serious ski areas a little further away.

Then there's the Sierras with beautiful pine forests and redwoods a few hours away also.

It seems a longer distance to get to non-beach recreation from Florida.

If money is truly not an issue and you do really have a healthy pocket change of 100K Euros/month, then no place on earth would be better than:
Tokyo (the sickest city in the world with a budget to really get the best out of Tokyo, will blow your mind like nothing and nowhere else).
Paris (get into the private parties of the world reknowned fashion houses and the mega babes/top model wanna bees from the world over).
Milano (hit the high end clubs and you'll get into the social circles of international top models, footballers and other real international ballers).
Barcelona (same as Milano).
The tue ballers holly grail is Monaco. Forget Vegas, over-rated and obsolete. Monaco is the playgrounds of the mega rich. While Monaco may be fun with 100K Euro/month, you still may run the risk of being in the shadow of princes, sheiks and other billionaires.
Shanghai is another good option, very avant-guardiste, tons of fly girls form what i've read/heard and a fav playground of the new riches who are tired of NYC and bored of Paris.
in BKK, If you have 100K Euros/month, you may get invited to dinner by the King of Thailand and get the creme of the creme of the creme of the mega uber Thai models.
Personally, as soon as I hit 10K Euros/month, my time will be spent between Tokyo and Rio/SP with some stints in Milano/Barcelona.

LA is certainly better if surfing and skiing are high up on your priority list.
